'How does a daughter live forever in her mother's heart? By simply following her commands'

It was the motto Leah lived by since her childhood, but every time she tried to impress her mother, she would hear harsher words. But one day it all changed when her mother, Lily, walked towards her with a gracious smile.

"Leah, are you hungry?" Lily towered over her, but the smile on her face seemed genuine. Excited that her mother had finally approved of her, Leah jumped slightly and cheerfully replied, "Not really, but if I can have lunch with you, then..."

"Aw, dear. I am so sorry I was so harsh with you back then. So how about we go to one of my favourite restaurants?" Lily smiled, and Leah smiled back even more. This was the very first time Leah had ever been somewhere alone with her mother.
