They were at the Orion's car. The case had been closed, and Helle and Lorraine were in the back seat of the car while Liam sat next to Orion. Helle gave her mother her shoulder to cry on as they leaned their heads upon each other.
"It took us so many years. So many darn years, all because that bastard was from a rich family," Lorraine whispered.
"Indeed, but now it's all over now. We can start anew, Mum," Helle comforted. This was indeed true after all; the end of a case didn't mean the end of a life. There was much more to come. With each series closed, others started.
"Miss Lorraine, how about you go travel to Mongolia? I can ask my friend to book it," Liam advised while looking through the papers on his briefcase.
"Huh? Well, I guess I might, but after the holidays. I want to spend some time with my daughter," she replied. Over time, she had gotten familiar and friendly with Liam, feeling that he was just another younger brother.
