"It's time." With my arms crossed, I stared at the ongoing destruction in the distance. I brought a small part of my remaining forces to invade once again another rebellious clan.
"Master Rizevim!" Approaching me was a white-haired boy with a hint of reverence in his face.
"Euclid. Where's your sister?" Euclid and his sister, Grayfia Lucifuge, were one of the last remaining members of the Lucifuge, an extra house under the Lucifer clan.
Currently, I took them in myself, intending to train them and make sure they'll be a valuable pawn in my grand plans.
If they fail to make themselves useful, then I'll dispose of them like the trash they are.
Thinking back to when my father was defeated by that damned Michael and that human sorcerer, I couldn't help but clench my fist and grit my teeth out of anger.
"Master?" Euclid tilted his head in confusion upon seeing the weird change in my expression.
"It's nothing, Euclid. Anyways, go and join in on the fun. Make sure your sister is with you." With a nod of his head, Euclid left and joined in on the ongoing destruction of the Valefor clan. Since they dare to join that bastard Zekram, then they should've expected this from me.
A rebel will be destroyed and eliminated off from the board.
After a few hours, and the entire compound of the Valefor clan has been razed to the ground, no one was spared.
This would serve a good lesson to those who might try to join Zekram's cause.
"Lord Rizevim! I have a news to deliver!" One of my men, went over to approach me and then continued.
"There's a big news going on, Lord Rizevim! Zekram Bael has loudly announced something to the entire Underworld!" Despite out of breath, the man still managed to finish his words.
"What is it?" I replied with unhurried tone. I'm afraid if I force him to speak quick, he would pass out before he could deliver the news.
"Zekram Bael has announced Four New Satans! Replacing the original ones!" As soon as he finished his words, my demonic energy quickly flared out of anger.
"How dare they!" I yelled in anger, gathering everyone's attention.
"Master! What happened?" Euclid, ever always the loyal one, was the first to ask me.
"…." I didn't answer him, in fact, I didn't even bat an eye on him and instead, loudly announced to everyone.
"That bastard has crossed the line by trying to replace the Satans with new but pathetic ones!"
A bunch of loud gasps can be heard from everyone, sharing the same feelings as I am.
"How dare they! Don't they have any respect for our ancestors!?"
"They should've been the ones who died, instead of the glorious Satans!"
I can see a mixed reactions from them. While some are truly angered by the revelation, I can also sense that the others are simply riding along in fear of me or being questioned.
I already know long ago that some of them are just following me either because they could no longer get out or they just fear me.
Nevertheless, I won't expose them for now. They still have their usefulness as pawns and grunts. Just me alone can't handle everything, I still need allies, even if they're just temporary ones.
"What do we do, Lord Rizevim?" Euclid asked me, his sister, Grayfia standing beside him with a monotone expression.
To be honest, I prefer Euclid more than Grayfia. The latter has the talent and strength that the former doesn't have.
The only thing Euclid is useful for is because he's the one I can use to use Grayfia.
His sister has always been dull about everything and that's what makes it so hard to get her loyalty. In fact, for all I know, she's only here because of her brother, Euclid is the only one left remaining family member that she has.
If something happens to Euclid, no doubt Grayfia would leave and I can't have that happening.
Hence, why I always put Euclid and his sister close to me. Right now, they're the ones I could trust as not only they're still children, easy to manipulate but also because they're from the extra clan that is under the Lucifer clan.
With those two aspects, I'm confident they won't be betraying me anytime soon.
"We'll play safe for now. Let them rejoice having a new leader. We will bide our time and continue expanding our power. We'll strike them when they least expect it." Hearing my words, they all nodded their heads in unison, as if my words are the law.
However, instead of rejoicing, I just sneered.
How pathetic, they couldn't voice out their opinions out of fear, always relying on my words and my decisions.
These devils would be a bunch of headless chickens if I disappeared.
For some reason, I feel like a babysitter to a bunch of toddlers.
"Pack up, everyone! We're leaving." Instead of confronting them about it, I simply leave it be.
Just as everyone was about to gather the loot inside the Valefor mansion, my demonic senses immediately picked up a huge teleportation circle occurring just near us.
"We're under attack!" Just as everyone reacted to my warning, it was already too late and a huge ball made of pure power of destruction flew above our heads and landed in the middle of us.
Boom!
Huge explosion occurred and everyone quickly unfurled their wings.
In the sky, several devil army can be seen diving towards us with their weapons and spells brandished.
"Everyone fight back!" I yelled a command at them, instilling the spell I made that would force them to listen to me and enhance their morale.
With my words, their previous panicking expressions turned resolute and they started to fight back.
As for me, I may not be as strong as my father nor have his Evil Light trait but I have something that he doesn't have.
I fully took advantage of the Demonic Energy, creating countless spells everyday, with each being mastered by me.
With a raise of my hand, the iconic Lucifer clan's magic circle appeared and black flames burst out of it.
[Fire Magic: Dark Flames!]
These flames aren't normal. Aside from its appearance, its properties are also dangerous.
Not only they're ten times hotter than even the Phenex clan's flames, but they're also indistinguishable, no amount of water can extinguish these flames unless I want it to.
Several devils, unaware of its strength, confidently casted barrier magics to block it, only for my dark flames to consume them entirely, breaking through the barriers with ease.
"GRAAAGHH!"
"Help! IT HURTSS!"
Hah~ those screams of pain are like music to my ears.
On my side, Euclid looked at me with a fanatic expression, as if he's seeing the work of a god.
Beside him, on the other hand, Grayfia still maintains that monotone expression, showing no emotion.
'Good. I don't want to see any pity on your faces just because they're your fellow devils.' I muttered under my breath with satisfaction.
"Euclid." I called out to the boy, snapping him out of his dazed expression.
"Y-Yes, master?" With a straightened back, he looked up to me and asked excitedly, perhaps eager to show his worth.
Good.
"Prepare the teleportation circle while I distract them. We're leaving." I ordered.
"But…what about them, master?" Euclid hesitantly asked, referring to our companions who are holding the invaders off.
"They have already served me well and it is time for them to show how faithful they are to our cause. Now stop with the questions and do as I say." Luckily for Euclid, I put a slight value on him, or else, anyone who dares to question my actions would've met my blade.
"Y-Yes." As he went to work on the teleportation circle, I failed to notice the disgust expression on Grayfia's face.
I quickly raised both of my hands and casted a large area spell.
"[Air Magic: Thunder Cyclone!]" From the magic circles on my hand, came a small but dark cyclone with arcs of lighting dancing around it.
It started off as small but as it gained considerable distance, it starts to grow in size until its height has reached the sky, pulling everyone in its way inside it and finding themselves fried by the lighting coursing through it.
Everyone was swept by it, not sparing even my own force.
However, that's not within my care. As long as they've outlived their usefulness, then there's no point in keeping them beside me anymore.
With the cyclone causing massive distraction and destruction, Euclid successfully conjured a teleportation circle.
"They're escaping!" Among the invaders, wearing a Sitri clan symbol, pointed his finger at our position and yelled.
Sneering, I flicked my hand on him and casted a quick but lethal spell.
[Blood Magic: Piercing Veins]
One of the most deadly spells in my arsenal, capable of killing anyone within a considerable distance. As long as they're weaker than me, this spell would be effective to them.
The Sitri member, unbeknownst to the spell I casted, was about to approach us when his entire body was suddenly riddled by scarlet red spikes, protruding from his own body.
Dead, the Sitri man fell from the sky.
With a wave of my hand, I grabbed both Euclid and Grayfia along with a few of my trusted aids before the teleportation circle did its job and teleported us back to our hidden hideout.
Zekram Bael. I will never forget this humiliation! I swear on my father's name. I'll kill you with my very own hands!
