The bed it is. Lie down

When Nicholas pulled Luciana out of the room, her mind was in a daze. She looked lifeless as he allowed herself to be pulled around by him like a zombie with no thoughts of her own. The annoying thing was that her tears kept falling even when she didn't want to cry. 

They reached a secluded part of the hallway, and Nicholas paused, pushing her back against the wall. He stared at her as if he was searching for something. His gaze was full of questions as he raised his hands. 

Luciana saw his hand approaching her face and flinched. She closed her eyes and held her breath in fear of what he was about to do. 

'She is scared of me,' he inwardly told himself, and that discovery irked him to no end. 'Why didn't she have this kind of expression when David was all over her?'

"Open your eyes, Luciana," he demanded, and Luciana's eyes flew open. She was too scared of what he might do to her if she defied him.
