Confrontation

Arashi swings his broken katana at Henry, who dodges the attack, quickly going for a counter, but Arashi is quicker; he hits Henry's face with the backside of his katana, quickly going for another slash, but Henry uses shooting-star to get behind Arashi, only for Arashi to quickly turn around, releasing a slash, which Henry dodges, leading to the ruins behind him getting hit by Arashi's slashing attack, completely breaking it.

Even though Arashi is weakened and wounded, Henry has no chance against him.

Arashi is stronger, faster, and has more fighting experience than Henry, but Henry does not give up. The last thing Henry would do would be giving up. Henry tries punching Arashi again, this time with his blue energy, but Arashi doesn't give Henry a chance; he hits him in the stomach with his fist, sending him flying and crashing through the surrounding rubble.

Henry grunts after getting up from the rubble, only for Arashi to already be standing there, waiting for Henry to get up so that he can continue beating him up.

Henry uses shooting-star to get away from Arashi, but Arashi is still able to keep up with Henry by running after him.

Henry quickly gets afraid by that sight, leading to him not watching where he is going, crashing into a half-broken residence.

Henry: "What am I doing? How do I beat that monster?"

He asks himself,

Henry: "Shit, I'm not as smart as Emilia, as skilled as Ichiro, nor do I possess strength like Jack."

He says in frustration, hiding in a room he just entered,

Henry: "What would Mom have said?"

He asks himself, remembering his mother, who always would use to say, "Believe in yourself." It is pretty basic, but those words have always helped Henry on his path, and even now, it helps him.

While Arashi cuts through rooms with his broken katana looking for Henry, Henry has walked out of the residency, standing outside, shouting, "Arashi, you dumb idiot." Arashi hears it, running outside like a wild maniac, staring at Henry with anger.

Henry looks at Arashi before shouting something out loud, "Arashi, I won't use my ability for my next attack, and with that I will end you." Arashi, who already is angry, just lets himself get more provoked.

Arashi: "Who do you think you are? You are nothing more than a mere ant waiting for its turn to get crushed by me!"

Henry: "I guess that you already lost once, and since then you are just a broken guy, trying to get approval from the world that you are truly the strongest, and I can tell you something, Arashi, as long as I am here, you will never be the strongest. I will prove it to you here and now."

He says. Henry knows that it is complete bullshit what he is saying, but he also knows that his best chance of winning is by trusting himself and his plan.

Arashi gets angry, so angry that his veins nearly burst.

Arashi: "BRING IT ON, FUCKER." He shouts, rushing at high speed at Henry.

Henry wanted this to happen; he noticed in the fight between Arashi and Ichiro that he is very easy to provoke, and when he is angry, he gets careless, something Henry wants to take use of.

Arashi holds his broken katana, swinging it at Henry, ready to cut through him, but he hadn't noticed Henry's fist that he swung into his direction, but Arashi doesn't care because his blade already reached Henry's body, and killing him now would prevent him from being hit. But then something happens, something Arashi did not expect and Henry neither, The moment Arashi's blade hit Henry, it breaks into hundreds of pieces, giving Henry no damage at all.

Henry, of course, did not know that this would happen, but Henry instinctively knew that he had to use this chance.

He gives all his strength into that punch, all the pain of his friends, and the pain that he had to bear until now, hitting Arashi straight in the face with everything he has, not only knocking Arashi out but also sending him flying through the huddle of destruction and the ruins of the residencies.

Henry breathes heavily, falling to his knees.

With no power left, he stares at the sky, smiling and laughing,

Henry: "D-did I just...won?"

He says before falling to the ground,

...

Jack: "Lenny, let us go."

Lenny: "Yes, big bro, we have to look for the others."

Jack: "But first, I want you to do something for me."

Lenny: "What is it?"

Jack: "Do not tell the others of your beast, it could bring you in danger"

Lenny: "Why? Don't you trust them?"

Jack gets silent after Lenny questions him.

Jack does trust them, but Jack's first priority is his brother, and to secure his brothers safety as good as he can, it is better that as less people as possible to know about Lenny's new abilities.

Jack: "Could you do that for me?"

Lenny gets silent, thinking about it before giving a quick answer,

Lenny: "Yeah, I think I can do that."

In the same moment, Emilia and Ichiro find Jack and Lenny, quickly running to them.

Emilia: "Jack, quick, we have to go."

Jack: "Why, what is it?"

Emilia: "It is Henry; he is fighting Arashi in this exact moment."

Jack looks at Lenny and Ichiro before nodding, making their way to Henry as quickly as possible.

...

???: "Arashi"

A voice says, making Arashi open his eyes to check who it is; it is Hinata who sits on the ground with his head on her legs.

Arashi: "H-hinata"

He says exhausted and confused,

Arashi: "What happened? Where are the—..."

Hinata: "You lost Arashi, you lost to them, your dream has ended again, and you were proven wrong."

Arashi gets angry hearing that, but after his long battles and the little rest he had over the past days, his body just can't take anymore, making him unable to move, only letting him take one big breath, cooling him down,

Arashi: "I-I lost?"

Hinata: "Yes indeed, Arashi."

Arashi: "I never wanted to lose again; it was my fault that Mother died. If—if I just were stronger—..."

Arashi says sobbingly with tears in his eyes before getting interrupted by Hinata,

Hinata: "You think Mother would want all this? You, training like a psycho and fighting every strong person you can see? I don't know what you witnessed on your two-year journey that had changed you to an animal, but now is the time to end it."

Arashi: "Is—is it really okay for me to stop it all? Have I done enough to pay for my past sins?"

Hinata: "It never was your fault, Arashi."

Arashi: "A-are you sure? Am I allowed to be with Mom again?"

Hinata: "Come back to us; we all miss you, especially Mother."

Arashi: "I-..."

Arashi cries; his emotions overwhelmed him, making him unable to say anything or do anything except to cry.
