Chapter 143: Little Dance Is Truly Amazing, She Just Drove Flender Mad with One Sentence

!

This place was less than twenty kilometers from Tiandou City, the capital of Tiandou Empire, with such a beautiful environment. Thinking that this would be the place they would live from now on, even Zhao Wuji and the other teachers were satisfied.

But Flender, not happy about it, muttered, "So what if the environment is nice and the place is large? Have they produced any strong experts? It's nowhere near as good as our Shrek Academy. The place may be small, but we have plenty of monsters."

Yu Xiaogang nodded in agreement. "Flender, honestly, I still don't understand why so many talented kids fall for your Shrek Academy. How do you convince them to join?"

"I'm using... Hey, no! What do you mean 'fall for'? I have charm, not tricks!" Flender protested.

Hearing this, Xiao Wu immediately recalled what Yunfeng had said earlier and added, "I know. Flender uses the Wuhun Hall's name, plus that noble title to deceive people into joining!"

Everyone turned to look at Flender, their gazes filled with a mix of amusement and disbelief.

Flender nearly spat blood after hearing Xiao Wu's words. It felt like since Yunfeng and the others arrived, Shrek Academy had taken a turn for the bizarre. Now, even his little secret was exposed.

"You... you...!" Flender stammered, unable to process what had just happened.

Seeing Flender so flustered, Xiao Wu quickly hid behind Yunfeng and stuck out her tongue, playfully making a face at him.

"Ha ha ha~"

Yu Xiaogang quickly intervened, seeing Flender on the verge of losing it. "Alright, alright, it's just a child's joke. Let's go quickly, Flender."

Although Flender was visibly upset, he didn't have much of a choice. He shot Yu Xiaogang a glare, changing the subject as he said, "Let's head up the mountain, and we'll get there in time for dinner. If the food here's bad, I won't stay."

At that point, Flender looked like a petulant child, and the Shrek group couldn't help but laugh quietly. Xiao Wu was truly amazing—she had gotten Flender worked up with just one sentence.

However, they also understood Flender's frustration. After all, Shrek Academy, his life's work, had ended. In his eyes, Tiandou Royal Academy felt more like a competitor.

But trouble was just around the corner.

"Stop right there. Who are you?"

Ten young Soul Masters, around eighteen or nineteen years old, blocked their path.

Though they hadn't summoned their spirits, the goose-yellow uniforms made it clear that these students were from Tiandou Royal Academy.

Flender, already in a bad mood, said arrogantly, "We're from Shrek Academy. We've been invited by Tiandou Royal Academy for an exchange. Lead the way."

The lead youth sized up Flender and the others, then sneered. "You country bumpkins are here to exchange with us? I think you must be beggars from somewhere. Hurry up and leave, or we'll use force."

After traveling for almost ten days, the Shrek group was indeed a bit travel-worn. But they weren't as disheveled as the boy had suggested. The young man from Tiandou Royal Academy was clearly judging them based on their humble appearance. Plus, Flender's arrogant tone made him even more displeased.

Most students admitted to Tiandou Royal Academy weren't there because of their own abilities but due to connections and noble titles. This was one of the academy's biggest problems; otherwise, why would they hold the title of the Tiandou Empire's top academy without the corresponding strength?

As for Shrek Academy, the teachers there were all proud individuals. They had founded Shrek out of their own convictions and had rejected opportunities to join prominent soul master families or factions.

Hearing the insult, Tang San and Dai Mubai's anger flared. Dai Mubai, unable to contain himself, stepped forward and immediately blocked Flender, releasing a chilling aura. He had never been insulted like this in his life, especially not in such a disrespectful tone. This was also an insult to his teacher, and if the White Tiger Spirit couldn't bear this, it wouldn't be a tiger—it'd be a sickly cat.

Bang—Dai Mubai kicked the young man aside, and then instantly summoned his Wuhun.

The Tiandou Royal Academy students were instantly thrown into chaos. They hadn't expected anyone to dare fight at their academy's doorstep. Only a few of the smarter students quickly summoned their Wuhun, but the majority fled in panic to avoid being caught in the crossfire.

Even those few who had summoned their Wuhun saw Dai Mubai's three glowing soul rings and immediately shrank back, not daring to make a move. Their brains didn't even consider a possibility of defeating Dai Mubai. In their minds, the difference in soul rings was an insurmountable gap, and none of them even had a soul master above level 30.

Dai Mubai's battle experience was vast. Sticking to his principle of "strike first, talk later," he didn't even give the others a chance to act. His Tiger Claw, accompanied by his body's movement, knocked the few who hesitated into the air.

Watching Dai Mubai in action, Flender and the other teachers frowned. They weren't upset about Dai Mubai beating the students; they were frustrated with the extremely poor quality of the students at Tiandou Royal Academy.

As for Yunfeng, watching the scene unfold, he couldn't help but laugh.

"Did they really think they owned the place? If this had been in my previous life, they wouldn't have walked out of this encounter in one piece," Yunfeng mused.

Using Flender's earlier words, "Arrogance isn't the issue, but you need the strength to back it up—otherwise, you're just asking for trouble."

In Yunfeng's view, the students of Tiandou Royal Academy had serious problems. If trouble had come, they should have immediately called for backup. Power and connections exist for moments like this.

These students, who looked like they had it all together, were utterly useless in a real fight. Despite having a numerical advantage, none of them could even stand their ground.

Their collapse was swift, much like soldiers retreating from the battlefield, some even crying for help. There wasn't a shred of the soul master spirit left in them.

As for Flender and Dai Mubai, they weren't bothered by the scuffle but were disappointed by the lack of any true soul master qualities in the students.

They had made a spectacle of themselves.
