The same dark red blood smeared across Novak's body, as if he had just been pulled from a pool of gore. However, the blood wasn't his—it belonged to the creatures before him.

Demons.

His 'Biochemical Disaster' ability still carried remnants of torn flesh and sticky fluid, slowly dripping from his palms. Yet Novak paid no mind to these remains, his focus entirely on the figures that began to surround him.

If cunning was the hallmark of devils, then strength was the defining trait of demons.

And at this moment, that strength was about to be tested.

Novak, however, remained unfazed, a smile creeping onto his face.

"Human?! How dare you enter the Abyss? Haha, I remember the taste of human flesh and blood—delicious! Don't any of you dare steal this one from me! This human is mine!" 

Among the gathering demons, the one who spoke was a towering demon warrior.

Novak's spiritual perception provided immediate feedback.

He looked like a true demon.

It was as if Novak was born for this realm, perfectly at home in the Abyss. His former life as a demon hunter had left him with no regrets. In fact, his contract with the Dark Mother Goddess had cost him dearly, transforming him into an 'Apostle of Desire', which had ultimately restricted his combat prowess.

Even as his power increased, Novak had always known deep down whether a path was truly suited for him.

And now, having returned to the Abyss, he felt the thrill once more—the thrill of slaughter, the rush of battle, the dance of blood and death. These were the themes that stirred his soul.

Before the demon warrior even had time to react, Novak moved with blinding speed.

His sharp claws slashed forward, and the demon instinctively raised its arm to block.
