The sound is so loud that it spreads thousands of miles!
Novak paid no attention to the kneeling demons. Instead, he closed his eyes, feeling his newfound authority expand across the entirety of the tenth floor of the abyss.
As expected, it was just as the will of the abyss had foretold when he first accepted his new profession.
The power of the Abyss Master would extend its domain with every layer of the abyss he conquered.
Yet, what surprised Novak was how quickly this power had grown. Merely reaching the tenth floor had already granted him such a significant boost in authority—something he hadn't anticipated at all.
With a focused thought, he continued to explore this sensation. Simultaneously, his eyes flickered open, scanning his status panel, where a new skill had appeared under his profession:
[Oracle of Domination] (Class Skill)
『Within all Abyss levels you have conquered, your word is absolute—demons obey unconditionally.』
『Power is an extension of authority. However, its influence over true gods is significantly weakened. Additionally, you can lead Abyss creatures through the Abyss Gate to any location, where they can unleash their full strength.』
Novak narrowed his eyes, deep in thought.
At first glance, the ability might seem underwhelming—but in reality, it was invaluable.
Previously, despite being the Abyss Master, Novak lacked the authority to command other demons. While the abyss itself prevented these violent and bloodthirsty creatures from harming him, it never granted him true dominion over them.
But now, any demon born within the floors he conquered was unquestionably under his rule—his people.
Even more significant was the ability to lead his demonic army beyond the abyss, into other realms!
Until now, demons struggled to leave the abyss at all, let alone traverse its many layers. Only the most powerful beings, those who bore the mark of the Well of the Abyss, could descend to deeper floors.
Ascending was an even greater challenge—even true gods found it difficult.
Moreover, the power of true gods was suppressed within the abyss, making it nearly impossible to leave its confines.
The abyss was like a dormant powder keg, lying in wait across the heavens and myriad worlds.
This infernal realm held enough explosive power to obliterate existence itself—but it remained contained, untouchable. Naturally, no true god dared to provoke or engage with it.
However, this new ability changed everything.
Novak could now extend the abyss's influence beyond its borders, igniting its power and pulling entire worlds, civilizations, and intelligent races into its grasp—into submission under the will of the abyss.
They would all become part of the abyss itself.
Where once the abyss was only a fortress of defense, it would now become a spear—a weapon that could strike outward with terrifying precision!
A spear so sharp that even the true gods would be forced to yield!
Novak's eyes gleamed brighter with every passing thought, filled with excitement and anticipation.
The abyss's authority was growing stronger.
Its power, once bound and stagnant, was now evolving.
And his control over the abyss was awakening to its full potential.
As he gazed at the countless demons kneeling around the Well of the Abyss—each one bowing in reverence to the living embodiment of its power—a sense of satisfaction washed over him.
Without hesitation, black tendrils of the Blacklight Virus extended from Novak's body, piercing into Odu's massive corpse and absorbing every last fragment of its strength as nourishment.
The only trace left behind of the fallen demon lord was his colossal battle axe—a formidable piece of equipment. Novak casually tossed it aside, unbothered, before turning his gaze to the horde of demons awaiting his command.
"In my name as the Abyss Master! From this moment on, the first ten floors of the abyss shall collectively be known as the Wilds of the Abyss! The rules governing the first nine floors will remain unchanged!"
"In my name as the Abyss Master! All demon factions on the tenth floor—cease your battles! Carve into the mountains, shape the land, and build civilization! Construct cities!"
Although the concept of civilization was foreign to many, the idea of a city was not entirely unfamiliar.
Some main worlds had the ability to summon demons from others, and in those worlds, cities existed. This knowledge would no doubt frustrate the demons, but the Abyss Master's command was an oracle of the abyss—an order they could not defy.
Novak's perspective instantly shifted to the tenth floor of the massive abyss.
The reason he named the first ten floors the Wilds of the Abyss was simple—they were nearly identical, vast plains with only minor hills and uneven terrain. The tenth floor was no exception. The most expansive region surrounded the Abyss Well, making it the ideal location for a city.
In an instant, the highest authority was activated.
The abyss's power surged forth, outlining a massive square on the open plains.
"In my name as the Abyss Master! Excavate this land as the foundation! Begin by constructing the Devil's Wall! Those who excel in their efforts shall receive a special reward from me!"
Though Novak often called demons "stupid," they were far from truly unintelligent. Their intellect rivaled that of any sentient race—they simply preferred brutality and bloodshed over structured thought.
However, no demon could resist the lure of a reward.
Sensing their hunger for incentives, Novak produced a pulsating heart—but it was no ordinary heart.
It was an SS-tier demon bloodline.
High-level demon bloodlines could be used by humans, but for demons, it was even more potent—an unparalleled gift of power.
"ROOOOAR!"
The moment the demons sensed it, the entire abyss erupted in howls of excitement.
Novak smirked, feeling the wave of anticipation ripple through them.
Even as he orchestrated the city's construction, his mind drifted to another possibility—could these demons be tamed enough to enter the main world? The Trial Grounds of Gods and Demons could use enforcers, and White Emperor City might benefit from patrols of Abyss warriors.
Still, domestication would be key. If they couldn't be controlled, the damage they could cause would be catastrophic.
One step at a time. No rush.
With that thought, Novak exhaled, shifting his focus.
Speaking of which, his old friend had been silent for quite some time.
Now that the first city in the Abyss's safe zone was finally underway, it was only natural for that old friend to establish the first Chamber of Commerce here.
