Chapter 251: The Second Abyss Congress! The Gods Are United!

Novak had not been idle.

Time seemed nonexistent in the abyss, but once he immersed himself in its construction, he realized just how many unique challenges and intricacies he had never considered before.

The first nine floors of the abyss required little change, but minor adjustments were still necessary.

For instance, no demon would ever again be allowed to gain the abyss's recognition through the Well of the Abyss and ascend to the rank of Demon Lord on these floors.

Additionally, demons born in these layers would have their bloodline inheritance imprinted with basic knowledge—rules and regulations governing the first ten floors, along with the path to the tenth floor itself.

Meanwhile, Novak had also ventured down to the eleventh floor, where he hunted demons, using them as nourishment for his Blacklight Virus.

He had extracted pure demonic blood essence, which would later serve as a reward—a vital resource to cultivate future Demon Lords.

The Gluttonous Face's abilities were simply too overwhelming, bordering on the absurd.

Its sheer power had made Novak somewhat careless about the value of blood-based strength. After all, when something was too easily obtained, people tended to take it for granted.

But that was irrelevant compared to the matter at hand.

This was also why Novak hadn't rushed to participate in the second operation to invade Somi Mountain.

Right now, his focus was on something far greater—the 600th floor of the Abyss of Nothingness.

This was where the original Hell had once resided, and it was also where the power of the abyss had been severed.

One day, Novak would have to either reclaim Hell and restore it to the abyss or expend his own energy to construct an entirely new abyss layer.

Only then could the abyss power continue expanding beyond the 600th floor.

For now, however, the 600th floor remained the natural endpoint of the abyss.

There were hollow worlds below, but they remained in a dormant, undeveloped state.

That, however, was a concern for the distant future.

Right now, the emptiness of the 600th floor served a far more practical function—it was the perfect meeting ground for the Abyss Lords!

That's right—the Second Congress of abyss Reform was about to begin.

The first congress had only taken place a few days ago, and now, a second gathering was already underway.

And this time, it was nothing like the first.

Previously, only Meikanxie, Gabul, and Winifreds had attended.

But now?

Now, six True Gods of the Abyss had arrived.

Gabul, the God of the Dead, Ferryman of the Underworld.Baphomet, Lord of Beasts, God of Barbarians.Yeenoghu, God of Assassination, Lord of the Gnolls.Winifred, the Eater of Worlds.Meikanxie, the Queen of Succubi, Lord of Pleasure.Aga Reiss, the Eternal Night Monarch, Second among the Seventy-Two Demon Gods.

Every single one of them was here.

Though Yeenoghu and Baphomet were clearly unwilling participants, their resentment and hostility toward Novak were evident.

Aga Reiss, in contrast, appeared neutral—until he saw the figure standing behind Novak.

At that moment, his expression shifted drastically.

Because Satan had arrived.

Yes, at this very moment, the King of Hell himself had appeared at the Second Congress of the Abyss.

And the instant his phantom form materialized, the once-peaceful gathering erupted into chaos.

Baphomet's eyes turned blood-red, his fighting spirit surging as the Kingdom of Beasts seemed to expand around him.

Yeenoghu unsheathed the two jagged daggers at his waist, his gaze cold and unyielding.

Winifred's first, second, third, and eighth heads all snapped around to face the newcomer. Even the fifth and sixth heads, which had been squabbling just moments ago, immediately stopped and turned toward the figure.

Among them all, only one remained calmMeikanxie, the Succubus Queen.

Like a noblewoman from the Western Realms, she gracefully rose to her feet and curtsied.

"I never imagined I would once again have the honor of meeting the noble King of Hell—the great incarnation of evil, the successor of the universe's negative pole. The ruler of the 437th layer of the abyss, Meikanxie greets you."

Satan smiled faintly and replied:

"I was able to return and descend upon this realm only through the mercy of our greater master—the future ruler of the abyss, Novak."

Novak merely smirked, dismissing the flattery with ease.

He had bigger priorities—like selling his grand vision to the powerful beings before him.

"I didn't expect such a complete turnout. It seems you all acknowledge me more than I anticipated~"

"Hmph! A mere mortal, lucky enough to pass my test! A spineless fool without a warrior's heart—do you think you deserve our recognition?"

Baphomet snorted, releasing a wave of scalding steam from his bull-like nostrils.

But Novak?

He didn't care in the slightest.

"Humans, if you have something to say, say it! The abyss may be dull, but wasting time with you is even more tedious," Yeenoghu said coldly.

"Aren't you interested in the authority of the abyss?"

The moment those words left Novak's mouth, even Meikanxie's eyes widened in surprise. She turned to look at Novak, along with the others.

Novak smiled slightly.

In the past, whenever gods questioned Novak about his power, they all reached the same frustrating realization—they couldn't harm him. No force, no matter how strong or instinctual, could affect him in the slightest.

Beyond that, they knew nothing.

And now, unexpectedly, Novak had gathered them all here to offer them a share in the authority of the abyss?

But it was true.

Novak's smile deepened as he continued:

"With the power of the abyss, I can take any species within it, leave freely, venture into the main world, or even travel across the heavens and countless realms—so long as you have a way.

You will be no different from the other gods. In fact, you'll have even more freedom, unrestricted by external forces... with the exception of the Trial Grounds of Gods and Demons."

At this, the gathered Demon Gods' eyes lit up with interest.

But soon, Baphomet let out a disdainful snort.

"Hmph! And what of it?!"

Novak's expression remained calm as he glanced at the towering beastlord.

"Baphomet, don't you want to challenge the God of War? To strip him of his dominion over war?"

Baphomet's bull-like head froze mid-motion. His breath grew heavy.

Beside him, Yeenoghu sneered. "I have no interest in fighting for power with the other gods."

Novak chuckled.

"Oh? But I heard something rather interesting—Your Excellency Yeenoghu, isn't your weapon no longer the 'La Cruz Slaughter Fang'?"

Yeenoghu stiffened, his blood-red eyes instantly filling with murderous intent.

Novak turned to the others.

"Your Excellency Gabul, do you not wish to challenge the God of Death, Boheim Noferis? To reclaim your dominion and restore the ancient glory of the Underworld?"

Gabul smiled, the most composed of them all. "Naturally."

Novak's gaze then fell upon Meikanxie.

"Your Majesty Meikanxie, your battle with Hell Rose has lasted since the beginning of the universe. Yet, confined to the abyss, you've been at a disadvantage time and time again."

A cold, venomous glint flickered in Meikanxie's eyes as she let out a low chuckle.

"Heh… That vile, fallen elf. A bitch without scruples. She stole the authority of the Ancient God's Tree of Life. Sooner or later, I'll strip her bare and make her bloom in blood."

Novak found this response quite to his liking.

Finally, his attention shifted to the towering figure of Winifred.

"As for Your Excellency Winifred, I simply ask for your aid."

This time, before the familiar fourth, seventh, and ninth heads—who had always been on good terms with Novak—could respond, it was the black head, the one belonging to Winifred's true self, that spoke first.

"Interesting… A human who can not only become the master of the abyss but also disrupt Lord Satan's resurrection plans. And yet, Lord Satan stands here willingly…"

The eighth head, looking as if it had just awoken from slumber, added in a lazy tone:

"Beyond the abyss… If the time ever comes and you require aid, seek us out."

The other gods were stunned by Winifred's response.

As for Aga Reiss? That was the easiest one. With Satan having already given his approval, Aga Reiss naturally nodded in agreement.

And with that, their ultimate goal was set—to reclaim Hell.

But there was one final condition.

Before that, they needed to see proof of Novak's sincerity.

And so, in a short span of time, the wills of several gods aligned—united under Novak's vision!
