chapter 11 independent lady

Jeremy's POV

"...and Jer....please , don't forget to check on Ailee every now and then , she may pretend to be tough but she's very soft and petite", aunt Jen whispered through gritted teeth as Luca helps her load her lugguage into her car outside

I nod while looking at Ailee arguing with her mother through their kitchen window

Aunt Jen looks back at them too and shakes her head messing her perfect ponytail in the process

"See....she's probably telling her mother she's an independent lady and doesn't need protection....but I assure you she needs to be protected from that Rey girl...I just don't like her", she says hugging herself in a protective manner , as if shielding herself from the cold cruel world

She pops her head up at me and widens her eyes

"Will you stop nodding your head and put that tongue to use....", she wheezes

"Is that all your stuff", Luca says with his back to the wooden door

"Uh yeah...ask Alicia if she's done and you Jer...I know you don't get along with Ailee but you're the responsible one so pl....",

"Okay...okay...I promise I'll check on her ", I say whistling her down and nodding to Luca at the front door to go to the Simi'anns

He doesn't nod back and just sets off...rude as always

I see him stomp over from aunt Jen's flower garden and jump over the wooden fence separating us from the Simi'anns....why he wouldn't use the entrance is still unknown

"Are you even listening to me....", aunt Jen screamed through my thoughts

"Are you good with it", she asks

With what....

"Yes...yes I am", I say trying to feign my attentiveness

"Good....she'll come with her stuff this evening", she says typing away with her phone as she picks her car keys from the coffee table

She ??

"Who's she", I ask as the anticipation in my voice shone....trying to hide my smile by furrowing my brows

"Ailee....she has to move in for when we're away but I doubt she'll come", she says exiting the front door

A full smile creeps on my face seeing her run from the kitchen upstairs through the window

Wow....God is indeed alive heh...this is gonna be fun

I'll keep her here....even if I have to get her pregnant....no hiding away this time
