Recently I began to learn different ways to utilize my energy core

Along with sword aura, I learned a defensive technique called absolute defense

This technique allows me to protect my whole body, it does take a great deal of energy to use it, but it's worth it

I also learned a technique from my father called combustion

Upon my first time using it, I almost died, as this technique explodes around 3 seconds after

Who would have thought that this small energy would explode

I used this technique to develop my absolute defense

Oh and I found something interesting, with magic, while focusing I see some strange numbers or letters

And if I say them out loud (chanting) I can create a spell

But after a while using the spells I can easily cast without chanting

Stares into a pond

"With my hair down I kinda look like my mom, and with it up I look like My da-

Hmm"

Shin gets attacked by a flying dagger

"Surprise attacks don't work on me anymore mom"

Shin says while holding the dagger

"It would seem so, to think you would improve this much with just a few years of training"- shin's mom

"It was thanks to you for attacking me in my sleep all the tim-"

Shin's mom smacks him

"Don't talk back to me this is all for your own benefit you know, I rather beat you up in your sleep than have someone kill you in your sleep"

Oh is that what you want to happen"-mom

"Ah no you can attack me anytime"

Hahaaaha

They both laugh

"Oh show me the magic you have been working on"

"Oh right, with this magic I can move the icicle around,but it's just two at a time

And since my elemental core is not really the best, this works best with my fighting style"

"I'm sorry for not being able to help you with your magic"-mom

"No I'm really thankful for both you and Dads teachings although it was though I learned a lot"-shin

But it's strange though if I combine my ice magic while activating my divine eyes

My ice magic becomes a different color

*Shin uses his ice magic while his divine eyes is activated*

"Hmm I think you might be a saint, and you said you can't use anything other than the ice magic with the divine eyes"-mom

"Yea basically, I even tried to close my eyes to see if I can cast spells like I do with the ice, but it doesn't work

Oh is being a saint a good thing?"

"Yea this widen your options once you get out of this dungeon

You'll learn more about it if you decide to take that route

And you are becoming quite powerful so anyone will be willing to have you as a disiple"- mom

*You know it's strange, every time mother talks about me being on the outside world, she doesn't include herself or dad

Maybe I'm overthinking, but it strange*- shin thought to himself
