Ruby couldn't believe the nerve of Selene to threaten her. Selene was only able to speak up because Xavier was by her side.

Ruby regretted not trapping Selene in this home, keeping her under her control so nothing like this would ever happen. She had underestimated Selene by once believing Selene wouldn't dare speak back to them since she was all alone.

It would have been best to find a way to claim that Selene was in on her parents' plans so the court would take her away and they would never have to deal with Selene again.

Ruby refused to back down. "This is Trevor's home. You already have a large estate to yourself."

"So? This home has always belonged to me and my parents. Don't you have a home for you and your husband? Why don't you move elsewhere and give it to Trevor if you are so concerned about him having a home? I am not letting this get back into your hands," said Selene.
