"Why can't there be a plan which doesn't involve me having to sleep with him? Nothing about it is enjoyable. For a man who sleeps around so much, why is he so awful?" Vivienne wondered.
Vivienne walked a little further so she could sit on a wall. "I hope you care for me more than you care for the palace. It doesn't matter who sits on the throne. All five families are considered royalty."
"But you and your husband are the face of this kingdom. That is what I want," Victor replied.
"Well, being in the palace is not as good as it sounds. There is always something to bother you. I already planned to have one more child for him and hopefully, this will be the last. I will not have some women come in here and gloat about having a boy. Once the prince is born, I am free," Vivienne said, hoping her father asked nothing more of her.
Victor nodded his head. "It will be so that you are free. Have you taken care of my granddaughter?"
