Selene Valor, a pureblood vampire,  entered a marriage of convenience with her husband Gabriel Valor to protect herself from relatives eyeing what was left of her family's wealth. "You!" Isaac shrieked, caught off guard by Xavier's arrival. "Where did you go? You could at least give me a heads-up before you run off somewhere. Why are your ears bleeding?" He asked, confused by the unusual sight. "Did someone stab you in both ears?"

Xavier wiped away the blood dripping from his ears. He had pushed himself a little too far today. "No. We need to go. I have a lot to share with you."

"I think we should take a look at your ears first. If someone didn't injure them and they are just bleeding for no reason then we need to go to a doctor," Isaac said, stepping closer to Xavier for a better look.

Isaac wanted to return Xavier to Selene just as he found him.

"It is fine," Xavier said, walking ahead so Isaac could follow.

The reason for his ears bleeding wasn't something he wanted to speak about here.
