"You'll come around to my plan at some point. I will speak to my aunt, but you will owe me for this. I might have to break her tiny heart."

"You don't have to break it. Should we wait for your grandfather to arrive to know why he invited her? Wait, did he even know your mother is staying with us?" Selene realised another problem.

"He might not know, but it was still rude of him to invite someone without asking us. It sounds like we have more guests, so we can ask him now," Xavier said, holding Selene's hand so they could walk together and to calm her.

"I will respectfully kick them out if needed," Xavier offered.

"I don't believe anything you might do to get them out will be respectful. I know you too well," Selene replied.
