Chapter 91- How could he not be angry?

A loud "thud" echoed through the large bedroom as a phone was angrily tossed onto the desk. Someone walked out of the bedroom with a cold expression, wearing comfortable, casual home clothes—black pants and a gray top—and headed straight for the study.

After rummaging through the drawers for a while, the person walked out of the study in frustration.

This person was none other than Dave, who had told Laurent he was out socializing. In reality, he had been at home. When Laurent called, Dave was just about to go to bed, but after turning off the lights, he found himself tossing and turning, unable to sleep.

For a man who was used to doing something relaxing and rejuvenating before bed, and who was in the prime of his life, suddenly having no outlet for that was agonizing.

And the culprit called him right at that moment. How could he be in a good mood?
