"Did you pass her the message?" Damon fixed his clothes one last time. He was wearing the official uniform of the knights instead of fancy clothing like other nobles.
"Yes! But.." the knight hesitated. This was the first time he would question Damon. But he could not let it go. "Even if the lady had helped us. Would it not be too much for her to wear the dress matching your mantle robes, my lord. What if the crowd.." A smirk appeared on his lips.
"If the crowd would see her, they would believe I have chosen her. And what is wrong with sisters marrying in the same house?" the knight's eyes widened. Petrified, he looked at Damon as if he had grown two heads.
"You can not be serious!" sisters marrying as mother in law and daughter in law! It was unheard and unjustified. But Damon only smirked.
