The end of their honeymoon

The night drawled, Cedric didn't sleep that night but just spent it with his wine. After Abrielle was done with her bath. She changed into her nightwear.

The entire time he didn't spare her a glance. Sleeping was a bit uncomfortable, knowing he was in a corner of the room just drinking and staring at the flames.

Eventually, she fell asleep, and by the next morning, he was already out of the room. Abrielle didn't know how she was going to handle this half cold, half warm Cedric but it seemed like this was for the best.

Especially now she was getting confused about him. The next morning they had breakfast very early in the morning so that they could set out early.

"It was an honour to host you." The duke extended his gratitude. Cedric nodded, sparing him some words of gratitude. The rest of the Duke's children were still asleep except for Seline, who wanted to send forth her lover in Abrielle's description.
