Talk about hearing bad news, the news was terrific. How did she have that mark? "That's a lot to take in, is there really no way to change my fate?" Abrielle inquired, Zoltana closed her eyes but suddenly jolted away.
Her hands were engulfed with black flames; Abrielle panicked and then poured her tea on the flames. Luckily it put off the little flames. After the flames were gone, there were no burn marks on Zoltana's hands, but she knew the pain she felt in her hands.
It was burning her like venom. Zoltana sat on the floor stunned as she tried to recover from the shock. Her eyes stared at Abrielle, terrified; she had tried to see if there was a way to sever the bond of the flames or the source and the black flame attacked her.
It was as if it was protecting itself from Zoltana. "Are you alright?" Abrielle urgently asked. Zoltana shook her head and slowly stood.
