He caught her

Abrielle was in pain; she bit it back, her lips close to bleeding. Abrielle struggled to get on her feet very subtly not to draw attention to herself. Luckily it seemed Cedric and Callista were so drawn to their conversation they didn't seem to notice Abrielle.

The red-haired princess had no idea that no sense skips Cedric's attention, not even the slightest sound due to his remarkable senses. Not to mention her distinct rose and strawberry mixed scent, he always noticed every time unless when he was blinded by rage, but he didn't turn back.

Abrielle slowly backed away, she was scared to get noticed. She had to find another route and avoid coming across people since she reeked of smoke.

She hadn't gone too far from the spot where she fell when someone grabbed her by the waist and covered her mouth to muffle out any sound she would try not to make.
