She isn't jealous

The room was lit by candles; the sun had already set, and it was dark outside. In a large dining room that could host a large number only two were seated at the table

At first glance, it seemed like they were having a pleasant meal. Well, at least Alfonso was enjoying his meal, but the same could not be said about Abrielle.

"If your intentions are to make me feel jealous. You have failed greatly at that, Cedric is more than free to take in a mistress or wife. If a princess deems herself low enough to be a second wife, who am I to stop her? I guess you might not understand me since your mother was a princess comfortable with the thought of being the third wife." It was an obvious Jab.

This would have offended Alfonso but he found it amusing. She was a bit ticked off by his earlier statement. The more she acted, the more she didn't care about proof she did. He laughed off, his eyes were a bit dead.
