Abrielle's attention was now focused on the ever-serious Evelyn; it was rare to see her being flustered. She was trying so hard to act normal but her red ears were giving her off.
"But you sounded very sad not to have chances to duel. You miss duelling with him and spending time together." Abrielle was holding the terrace walkway rails. Her attention was on Evelyn.
The rain poured heavier, and the Princess had grown bored of the knights she wanted to see so badly before. She was more interested in Elias and Evelyn.
"I don't miss spending time with him, and besides, there is no way he would be interested in an older lady or anything besides his job." Abrielle could sense the spite on Evelyn's face.
"So you like him but you are scared because you think he doesn't like you." Evelyn's jaw dropped. Where was the princess getting all these ideas from?
