I Can Make a Snowman

"You... are serious?" Chione asked, stunned, though her expression remained unchanged.

Artemis smiled. "Mhm, one hundred percent serious. So, will you become our wife?"

Chase walked up beside Artemis, standing at her side. Chione looked between the two—the girl seemed to glow in the moonlight, her ethereal beauty heightened by its silvery light, while the man was strikingly handsome. How nice it would be if she could accept.

"I can't," Chione said, turning to continue walking, but Artemis stepped in front of her.

"What do you want, then?" Artemis asked.

Chione hesitated. "I... I don't understand. What do you mean?"

Chase sighed. "She's asking what it would take for you to agree to be our wife."

Chione stared at them, still expressionless. "What do I want? Money."
