Nether Fire

"Your companions are dead this time." Garry looked down at Barseagle with a smile. "How could they hope to survive against two true werewolves?"

Barseagle didn't answer. He knew this time that he shouldn't suppress himself anymore. He must go all out right from the start. Only there would be a hope of survival!

As he thought of this, the nails on Barseagle's hands turned from dark to gold. Following that, golden light flickered on his nails and shrouded his entire body in just a few moments.

The golden light illuminated the entire area which blinded everyone. Fortunately, the golden light receded after a few seconds, revealing Barseagle whose entire body, from head to toe, was covered in a thick golden light.

"HAHAHA! That signature ability, that golden light... You're really The Radiator!"

Garry smirked.

Daniel looked at Barseagle's golden figure akin to a golden knight or a paladin. He couldn't help but exclaim excitedly. "Captain still has this ability!? Damn! He hid himself too much."

Who would have known that they have such an awesome captain?

Liz and Kate's mouths were also agape. They were by Barseagle's side for a long time, yet they didn't know he still had this kind of powerful ability.

"That giant called captain something like Barseagle the Radiator, right? I must find more about the captain after we return." Liz added.

Suddenly, Ian appeared beside them, eating the flesh and blood of his enemies.

"Am I late for the fun?" Said Ian, munching the raw meat that tastes slightly like iron.

Daniel backed away with a disgusted face as he saw the dried blood on Ian's mouth.

"You're really something. You just played around with your enemy like a fiddle. They didn't know what hit them." Kate let out a soft chuckle.

Liz also nodded.

They saw how Ian fought with two true werewolves. They were worried at first. But when they saw that Ian's two opponents couldn't get the last of Ian's exoskeleton armor. They felt relieved.

After all, unlike Ian's enemies, they were aware of his retractable bone claws.

"But when did you have a tail? Don't tell me, like your armor and claws, it's something you awakened?" Daniel asked carefully.

Ian smiled initially but then shook his head. He looked at the confrontation between Barseagle and Garry before saying. "I get stronger every time I eat my enemies. I also awaken random body parts like my claws and this tail when I've eaten a certain amount of meat. That's the only thing I can say for you now..."

"Don't worry, everyone has their secret." Said Daniel, assuring Ian.

Kate also smiled. "Your ability is quite good, but unfortunately, it's random. If you could create what you want instead it would be even better."

"I know right?" Liz chimed in with a sigh.

On the other hand, Ian's mouth twitched imperceptibly. 'Well, fuck... That's closer to the truth.'

...

"Let me test your ability. If it's really as special as they say!"

With an explosive speed, Garry flew towards Golden Barseagle with his fists clenched tightly.

Radiate!

Barseagle didn't back down. The golden light on his body shone with brighter luster, exuding rays aimed at Garry.

How fast is the speed of light?

Even though Garry could follow Barseagle's arm movement. His body wasn't fast enough to dodge the bright radiation.

Garry was enveloped completely, burning his entire body into a sizzle. The heat was so hot that it completely scorched the ground.

He could only feel his body considerably slow down. The temperature of the light burns his skin to crisps.

But how tough is a higher werewolf's body? This wasn't enough to stop him!

With a forceful push, Garry continued to rush toward Barseagle with increased ferocity. The pain angered him completely this time.

"This is it? You're golden light ability? It indeed could slow down movements and cause such heat... But if you think this could stop me with this, then you're delusional!"

A blue pillar of flames rushed to the sky out of Garry's body. The temperature of the surroundings increases to the point that the very air itself crackles.

"We have to leave quickly!" Ian, who felt the scorching heat, shouted. He himself ran away.

Daniel stared at the blue pillar of flame in trepidation. "So this is why he was called Walking Flare."

At the very least, Daniel was sure that this level of temperature was enough to dehydrate them in just a few minutes. Not only that, but it was still rising so quickly that he felt his skin start to crack.

"Don't stand stupidly, run!" As Kate followed Ian, she pulled Liz with her who was in a daze.

"Captain, don't die on us!" Being pulled forcefully, Liz woke up in her stupor. She doesn't want anyone to die in the team.

For her, team 7 was akin to a second family. The thought of one of them dying always made her scared.

Barseagle watched his team members scurry away for about sixteen meters.

'If push comes to shove, I'll detonate my golden light to the extreme. Even if It can't kill him, I don't believe he would remain unscathed!'

Barseagle held his breath as the pillar of blue flames continuously extinguished his golden light.

After a few moments, the pillar of flame compressed at one point, revealing Garry's figure. He completely transformed into a sixty meter giant blue humanoid flame!

His eyes were lit with blue intensity, the flames on his body continuously incinerating the very ground they stepped on.

"This is the ability I awakened when I was just a true werewolf." Garry smiled proudly as a scythe made of blue flames appeared above his palm. "At that time, I could only produce blue flames that could incinerate steel and the like. But now, it's temperature equal to what they call magma in the outside world. I can also shape it the way I want. Malleable enough to follow the image in my thoughts. And lastly, it has a special feature! My ability to access these flames from a special dimension, the Nether Realm! It grants my flame's ability to deal damage to non-corporeal things!"

"Why are you telling me this?" Barseagle looked at Garry.

"Because I know your golden light form can make you transition to an intangible state, making you immune to physical attacks, am I right?" Garry had a wide grin.

Hearing this, Barseagle was silent.
