Tungsten Infused Exoskeletal Armor

'What? Why!?' Ian screamed internally. 'You didn't ask me to pay for the ideas you suggested before!'

[Please understand. This is to prevent you from being overly dependent on me. What this system needs is a competent host, not a waste.]

Hearing this, Ian was speechless. He didn't know how to refute.

Indeed... If he becomes overly dependent, how is he worthy of the system? The additional cost for system suggestions was quite reasonable.

From now on, he should only rely on his system if he is at his end's wit or if it concerns his life. With this, he'll be able to grow. Asking the system all the time would hinder his creativity! In the long term, being overly dependent will make him weaker... Not physically, but mentally!

In the end, Ian could only heave a helpless sigh. 'I don't have a choice. You proceed, and I'll leave determining the right ratio for you.'

As Ian made the decision, a smile appeared on his face. He only needs to consume fifty Biomass for the right ratio. With the ratio, the mineral mixture in the armor would be far more stable or more appropriate, right?

On the other hand, if it's him who tries to recklessly, or to say, randomly guess the ratio, it might make the outcome worse, or at least, a lot less undesirable it's the system that decided.

[Affirmative. The Phantom Ghost Ratio is chosen. This ratio strikes the right balance between heat resistance and integrity of each component structure, whilst also retaining the exoskeletal armor's flexibility. Would the host like to proceed? Yes/No]

'The Phantom Ghost Ratio? Resistance? Structure?' Ian could only sigh at this. 'Who would have known that ratios between minerals would have a cheesy name? Yes, proceed!'

[-1000 Biomass Consumed!]

At this moment, Ian suddenly felt a strong surge of energy appeared out of nowhere. The energy moved vigorously like a raging bull to his body, then to his arm, then finally, to his entire armor. The energy was so strong that a strong air current outwardly pushed everything around Ian.

"What the fuck is that!?" Daniel flew three meters away, the air current was so strong that his body was like a leaf raging amidst the storm.

Kate and Liz suffered no less. Like a broken kite, they bounced on the ground like broken ragdolls. The two tried to resist but it was in vain. It's like the air itself wrapped around their bodies.

Kate bit her lips. She bent her waist and clawed the ground with her nails. She channeled her entire body weight to anchor herself to the ground. "What happened to you!?" She looked at Ian, and as she did so, a dumbfounded expression appeared on her face.

Liz was also stunned. "What the hell!?"

"W-what is that red line like a snake on his body?" Daniel who was the final one to hold himself. "Don't fucking tell me his evolving a body part again!?"

"Stay calm and just watch you bastards." A toothy grin emerged on Ian's face. He was quite amused by his companions' reactions to his current transformation.

"Huh? What is happening to that guy?" Garry who noticed the commotion stopped the blue spark light above his palm. He looked at Barseagle who looked miserable with a hint of inquiry.

Barseagles' arms had been torn apart by Garry's gigantic hands. The skin, every nook and cranny of Barseagle had been burned to the point that the flesh underneath the skin became visible. Hundreds of blood vessels, white muscle fibers, bones, etc… Had all been almost cooked to medium rare.

If not for the combined healing of Barseagle's golden light and vampiric healing factor, one could only wonder what would be the outcome…

Barseagle who was given breathing time also looked at Ian. Beautiful crimson light began to snake around Ian's armor. It looks wild and fiery, giving everyone a weird feeling of aesthetic. Barseagle shook his head, looking at his own body's miserable state. 'At this rate, the damage would exceed my ability to heal.'

'This fucking Walking Flare is really a dangerous guy!'

Barseagle began to feel his body repair itself at an exaggerated rate. However, he wasn't happy at all. After all, everything works at the law of equivalent exchange. To say, his ability to heal, whether it was his natural ability to regenerate as a vampire, or his special golden light, both consume energy. Everything in the Universe consumes energy to operate. As a law, energy cannot be destroyed, but can only change from one form to another.

It is the same… He can't heal forever. Once his physical energy runs out, his golden light and natural healing factor will stop. It's only a matter of time before Garry's blue fire would successfully incinerate him to scum.

Barseagle looked at Ian, Daniel, Liz, and Kate far away. A determined expression appeared on his face. 'It doesn't matter if I die. At least, I need to buy some time for them to escape!'

"Interesting, it seems that guy is evolving…" With a hearty laughter, Garry crossed his arm. "I'm curious what would happen to him."

'This Garry guy seems to be the type to act according to his whims.'

Barseagle knew that this was an opportunity to attack while Garry had his guard down.

However, will attacking really change anything? Even if successful, what can he do against Garry's incredibly durable huge body? Barseagle knew that it was futile. Nothing would change, in fact, it would only hasten his death.

Just like that, a few minutes passed with everyone's eyes on Ian, watching his transformation. Ian's exoskeletal armor changed from bulky to sleek with a tinted crimson anaconda crest in the center. The surface of the armor revealed hues of red and orange.

Ian examined himself carefully, to not miss any details. 'I didn't expect that just adding tungsten on my armor would result in this change.'

'With this, coping with flame-type opponents would be far easier than before. I just hope that the added resistance is enough to help me fight against Garry's Blue Flame.' Ian sighed.

Even with this upgrade, he wasn't confident enough. After all, he was fighting against a higher werewolf. Garry surpassed him in all aspects; Speed, Size, Strength, Durability, and Combat Experience.

How could he win?
