Blood City in Panic

When Ian returned to the blood city at the gate, the two knight guards almost immediately released their curse swords and pointed them at him. "Who are you!? What is your purpose here, giant!?"

They couldn't help but tilt their head up, but they couldn't even see the face of the giant in front of them. Just Ian's waist loomed upon the entire gate, and his head was already a few clouds in the sky. His shadow enveloped almost 30 meters forward.

On the other hand, the guards on top of the gate stationed were scared shitless. Some guards briskly walked towards the artillery: Canons and Machine Crossbows. Panic ensued inside the city as the vampire citizens saw Ian's gigantic silhouette. In front of giant Ian, the towers and the twenty-meter-high walls look like toys.

"W-what is that creature?" A merchant tripped to the ground, the roller that he was pushing overturned, his pants wet. "Where are the guards!? Why don't you attack!??"

"That is not a werewolf, right? Look at that armor; the designs aren't something those dumb fucks could think of."

"Damn it! I don't want to die yet!"

A vampire that performs street music hurriedly drags his guitar and scurries away with his feet trembling.

While some were frozen in fear, some ran in panic and collided with each other; some were rational enough to walk calmly away.

At this moment, the crowd within 50 meters of the city dwindled. Ian watched everything in amusement. 'They were scared shitless… Well, I couldn't blame them.'

At this time, the two knight guards immediately ensued command to the other guards. "Evacuate the ones left in the area far away immediately!"

"Yes, sir!" At this moment, the guards were forced to calm their nerves. They hurriedly jumped from the top of the walls to the ground inside the city. "One, two, three… There are still fifty-five in here."

"For fuck's sake! Do you guys want to die!?" One of the guards screamed at the people. "Why don't you run? Although most of you aren't even lesser vampires. You fools are still vampires! Have you lost your survival instincts!? Damn it!"

The regular vampires with pale faces seem to have been splashed with cold water. Immediately, the guards guided them calmly away from the sight.

"Now, we can finally go all out." The two knight guards then shouted in unison. "Fire!!!"

"Fire!!!" The guards stationed above the walls orderly aimed at Ian. "Take this!" A guard swiftly fired the canon on his hand and cried out.

BOOM!

Ian's body shook as he felt the impact of the cannot that hit his armor. It was not the end yet, a rain of explosions set off, and every hit made Ian annoyed. Yup, he didn't feel pain. The flurry of canons that hit him couldn't do anything to his massive body. Some of them hit his arms that weren't protected by armor, though, which was painful. As painful as the bite of ants.

'I need… With the increase in body size, the strength and durability of my skin, muscle fibers, and bones had increased drastically along with my weight.' Ian nodded his head in satisfaction. 'Should I this farce? Or should I test the curse swords?'

Honestly, he hasn't introduced himself to them because he wants to see his capabilities. If he did so, this trouble and panic in the city wouldn't have happened in the first place. However, he was really curious about how strong the two knights were that he suspects should be at least Higher Vampires that wield curse swords!

"Damn it! Our artillery isn't fucking effective to that monster!"

"Holy fuck! What kind of creature is this!? It's a humanoid abomination that has superior size than Higher Werewolves!"

"That's also what's in my mind. How the hell did such a big creature remain undetected and cross our border? Not to mention, with such a huge body, the other cities before should have spotted him, right?"

The guards kept firing, some of them had their hands shaking. Realistically speaking, their lives are doomed right now. They're walking on thin ice.

"It's useless. We can't damage him." A bald-headed guard with brown eyes and a muscular-Squidward-shaped face despaired with tears gushing from his eyes. "I haven't touched our second daughter yet. My first son's birthday is tomorrow…"

Seeing this, the other guard beside him tried to knock some sense to him. "Bastard! Do you want to get us killed!? You're not the only one here, you fucker!"

"It's futile!!!" He let go of the cannon and collapsed to the ground blankly, his eyes listless.

"Damn it!"

The guards didn't have time as they kept firing. Unfortunately, Ian just bears the brunt of everything. If the guards could see his face, they would see that Ian was yawning.

"This is no fun…" Ian's voice echoed. 'Hmmm??? Did my voice become deeper? Is it because my body has grown so much?'

"Did the giant speak?" The knight guard at the entrance, who heard Ian's deep voice,e had a look of surprise. "Or is it just my illusion?"

The other one shook his head. "Nah, he indeed spoke just now. Did he say no fun?"

"It's been a while since I've fought a strong one. Let's see if I didn't get rusty."

"Hahaha! Me too!"

The two guard knights were naturally not afraid of Ian. Who are they? They're higher vampires that could go toe to toe with higher werewolves that were just slightly to the giant in front of them in size. However, they had to acknowledge that the enemy this time seemed tougher due to his armor.

"The armor of this thing is familiar… Where did I see it?"

"Don't blabber anymore! Let's start."

The two knights dashed side by side with their swords raised.

Sanguine Requiem!

The sword on his hand released a visible black and red aura. This blade can cut the flow of blood. It doesn't cut flesh!

'Interesting.' Ian didn't have the intention to dodge. If he wanted to, he could just use his echolocation to dodge even the cannons that were continuously firing.

Although his body might be gigantic, his mobility is still the same as before,or even faster! His body was, after all , automatically customized for speed and aerodynamics. That's why every meter costs 500 biomass instead of the original 300-400.

Just like that, the bloody toothpick-like sword for Ian bypassed his skin and reached the blood vessels on his feet. Yes, feet… The two knights needed to give more effort to even reach his legs due to the height disparity. At this moment, Ian felt like he was fighting insects.

Tebebrous Fang!

The one other one joined, his blade had transitioned to the dimension of reality and illusion, able to bypass defense. Under this blade, Ian's armor was proven to be useless. Well, the premise was if the knight could reach his body.

The curse sword released a purple aura that moves in a zigzag pattern. The knight hit Ian's shin, cutting a piece of flesh. "It seems our attacks can't do much. We need to aim for the head or his neck."

"Then jump!"

The two nodded at each other as they gathered force to their legs in an attempt to reach Ian's head, which was covered with clouds.
