But Atrox Soryu dreamed of uniting the Empire as the rising star of his Clan. He had the charm and the potential but then it was discovered that he carried the Forbidden Mark Order.

A power that was feared and loathed. In an instant his world was turned upside down, his friends turned their backs on him and his father disowned him, calling him the shame of the Clan. 

He was sent to the borderland where monsters crawled from Rifts to conquer the world. It was here that he would know the terrible secret of the Forbidden Mark Order he carried and the inheritance that comes with it. 

He wanted to build an Empire and he would start from the borderland he was sent to, right from the labor camp.

Building An Empire Starting From The Labor Camp In Exile

The next morning, Atrox sent messages to all the Flagbearers. There was no time to waste. He instructed them to send their forces—those that wouldn't be able to participate in the first wave—to the second layer.

What should remain at the forefront are those clearing the Rift; every other person should leave. This way, there wouldn't be any worries about monsters going after the fortress or not.

He was going to render the fortress meaningless so they could focus on the Rift. Those waiting at the second layer would serve as the second line of defense in case anything went wrong.

Things began to move fast after that. It took days for the Flagbearers to mobilize their forces, clear their storages, and put their affairs in order. All the while, Atrox patrolled the Borderland daily in case of any unusual activity.
