A power that was feared and loathed. In an instant his world was turned upside down, his friends turned their backs on him and his father disowned him, calling him the shame of the Clan. 

He was sent to the borderland where monsters crawled from Rifts to conquer the world. It was here that he would know the terrible secret of the Forbidden Mark Order he carried and the inheritance that comes with it. 

He wanted to build an Empire and he would start from the borderland he was sent to, right from the labor camp.

With that, they began their journey towards the center again. The land changed from rugged mountains to a carpet of green forest that covered the ground as far as the eye could see.

So far, after the green monster, they had fought three more monsters of the Riftborn Titans, and the Flagbearers took care of them. To Atrox and the others, it was starting to look like a game of tag or something morbidly similar. Why were the monsters showing up like that?

It was as if they were not all in the same place and were being called one after the other—or maybe it was a case of the first to reach them.

They expected the Rift Lord to show up, but the monster hadn't. It seemed their plan to wound the Riftborn and go after the Rift Lord would not work because not only had the Rift Lord not shown up, but it also seemed as if he was content to let the Riftborn Titans take care of things.
