Eve clenched her fists tightly, staring at Thalia with conflicting thoughts. Thalia was the reason why Annie died. She couldn't forgive her easily.

"Someone died because of you. Do you think kneeling is enough to pay for your crime, Princess Thalia?" Eve said coldly.

Thalia gazed up, trying her best to suppress her anger. She already humbled herself. She was humiliated in front of high-ranking officials. The person who died was just a servant!

'What does she want from me? I shouldn't have done this, if not for my brother's threat.' Thalia regretted begging Eve for forgiveness. It seemed that she wouldn't let it slide so easily.

"It was an accident! I told them to scare you, not to kill anyone!" Princess Thalia denied it.
