Transporting the Red Fire Ore

No matter how one calculates it, the strength of monsters could never compare to that of the native beasts.

After all, monsters were merely mutated from Earth's ordinary plants and animals, and their existence only spans a few decades, whereas native beasts, with their ranks aside, have lifespans of hundreds or even thousands of years, making them incomparable to Earth's monsters.

Most monsters on Earth are either ordinary, elite, or leader-level, with very few reaching the rank of King-level, and even fewer at Emperor-level. In the wild, one would be lucky to encounter an Emperor-level monster within a hundred miles, and Imperial-level monsters are even rarer.

As for Sky-tier monsters, they are almost non-existent—there may be fewer than a hundred across Earth.

Moreover, most monsters on Earth are of lower ranks: Bronze is common, Silver is widespread, while Golden-tier monsters are rare, and Sky-tier monsters are practically unheard of.

Earth's monsters, at best, can only reach Sky-tier. There are no Saint-tier monsters.

This is determined by the tier of life. No matter how strong an ant becomes, it cannot escape the limitations of its life tier. In other words, the lower the life tier, the greater the constraints it faces.

Along the journey, Gu Ling Ling was constantly in awe, showing immense excitement. This was her first time being in the wild, and her understanding had greatly expanded. After all, for someone who had never left the city, the concept of the wilderness was mostly based on images—its vastness, desolation, danger, coldness, and brutality could only truly be experienced firsthand.

The others paid little attention to her, as they were all veterans—having danced with death, they were long past being curious about the scenery or the various monsters, even growing somewhat numb to them.

Of course, Kent and Zhao Mengxi were still somewhat like novices—only having ventured outside the city a few times, their curiosity was still strong, especially since they were together as a couple, making the experience all the more special.

That night, they set up camp and rested. The mercenary group took turns keeping watch, and everyone slept relatively peacefully.

Only a few reckless leader-level monsters, thinking that humans had invaded their territory, attempted to attack, but they were swiftly killed without even a ripple of resistance.

The next morning, after a short rest and a quick breakfast, the group continued on their way.

Around midday, they arrived at the Mowling Secret Realm.

Before they even entered, they were stunned by what they saw. Countless Red Fire Ore stones were falling out of the cloud-like entrance of the realm, forming a pyramid-like mountain over a hundred meters high on the ground.

Then, a stunning woman in her late twenties, dressed in bright red, appeared at the entrance. A flame enveloped her, and she transformed into a hundred-meter-tall Heavenly Fire Kylin.

With a roar, the Kylin summoned countless strands of fiery power from the air, each strand lifting a Red Fire Ore and sending it soaring into the sky. The ores formed a vast, fiery cloud that flew toward Kent and the others.

About a minute later, this enormous "fire cloud" fell like a rain of fiery beads, covering the ground.

"Kent, you're finally here," said Chi Yuan Zi, the Kylin, after finishing transporting the ores. She transformed back into the beautiful woman and landed in front of Kent and his group.

Kent gave an awkward smile. He noticed that there were already several layers of Red Fire Ore on the ground, meaning Chi Yuan Zi had already transported several batches.

"Saint Chi Yuan, I've had a lot on my plate recently, so I'm only just getting here. If it's convenient, allow me to introduce two of our human powerhouses."

Chi Yuan Zi briefly scanned Qian Zhen Qian and Li Wan Feng with a sharp look, seeming to appraise them in a fleeting moment. She then gave a reluctant nod.

Kent immediately felt a bit embarrassed. It seemed that in her eyes, the strength of Qian Zhen Qian and Li Wan Feng was barely sufficient.

"This is Chi Yuan Zi, Saint of Red Fire. This is Qian Zhen Qian, a Four-Star Inspector from Earthstar City, and this is Li Wan Feng, a Four-Star Inspector from Weiguang City. They're here to assist me," Kent said, introducing them.

Qian Zhen Qian and Li Wan Feng immediately clasped their fists in greeting.

Chi Yuan Zi nodded indifferently and then said, "In the past few days, I've had time to fly around Earthstar. It's rather ordinary. In terms of size, it barely compares to an Eight-Star spatial domain. As for power, if there were no connection to other spatial domains, it would be utterly insignificant. Even a single elite-level monster would be enough to wreak havoc. Although it's been decades since the mutation began, overall, it's still weak—probably comparable to a moderately strong Six-Star spatial domain."

It was clear that Chi Yuan Zi was quite disappointed with Earthstar. She had expected Earthstar to be an advanced world with fully developed natural laws, only to find that it was still in its infancy.

Kent awkwardly scratched his nose. He knew that Chi Yuan Zi had seen a lot and even met powerful humans from other worlds who had made her wary. To her, Earthstar humans were probably no more than a few insignificant insects.

"Saint Chi Yuan, no matter what, Earthstar has complete natural laws and is connected to numerous spatial domains. Among them, there are large worlds and even three terrifying Heavenly Realms. With your strength, I don't think you would dare to roam freely there, so I hope you refrain from belittling us," Kent responded, standing up for Earthstar humans.

"Alright, alright, you've had your say. You're worse than a chatterbox," Chi Yuan Zi said, pointing at the ground. "As per our agreement, I can carry ten billion pounds of ore each time, and after twelve trips, it will be done. We can finish everything today. When the time comes, you can enter, but I hope you won't make me remind you."

Kent's face lit up with joy. "Thank you, Saint! I will do my best."

Chi Yuan Zi didn't respond and simply flew off.

As the Heavenly Fire Kylin departed, the lingering aura of a Saint-tier beast remained in the air. This kind of pressure made even Golden-tier beasts shiver in fear...
