Zhao Mengxi was Kent's official girlfriend, so of course, he had no reason to refuse her offer—on the contrary, he was quite pleased.
As the saying goes, a balanced partnership makes work easier. Kent had to admit that he wasn't particularly skilled in networking or business management. Having someone he trusted to delegate responsibilities to was the perfect solution.
The two quickly settled the matter and began discussing how to establish a company, form a mercenary group, and draft various regulations and operational guidelines.
They continued discussing these plans over dinner, on the way back, and even after returning to the hotel room, the topic remained the same.
Eventually, Zhao Mengxi casually brought something up. "Kent, Fan Qingmei could also be a great asset to you in this field. Why not talk to her? I believe she'd be more than happy to lend a hand."
She spoke with a formal tone, as if discussing a serious business matter, without the slightest hint of personal feelings. This made it difficult for Kent to gauge her true thoughts.
"Mengxi, can I hug you?"
Sitting on the sofa, Kent reached out and pulled Zhao Mengxi into his arms, pressing a deep kiss onto her soft, jade-like lips. Zhao Mengxi gradually responded, her tongue intertwining with his in an unrelenting dance until they were both breathless.
When they finally parted, Kent gazed into her eyes with deep affection. He didn't want to explain anything with words—he feared saying the wrong thing—so he chose the simplest and most direct way to express his sincerity.
When it came to love, Kent was always a straightforward person. He liked what he liked, and he wouldn't force himself to deny his feelings. Now, caught between two extraordinary women, he truly found it difficult to choose. He couldn't bear to part with either of them and only hoped they could understand his heart without pressuring him to decide.
Zhao Mengxi, still slightly breathless, blushed with a charming flush, her eyes twinkling with mischief. She playfully glared at Kent before burying her face in his chest, but not before giving his waist a sharp pinch.
Kent took the pain in stride. It was nothing compared to the relief of knowing she was venting her emotions.
"Kent, do you want to marry me, or her… or both?" Zhao Mengxi asked in a soft, lingering tone.
Kent froze for a moment, then felt a surge of excitement—was she actually opening up to the idea?
Gently caressing her face, he responded with conviction, "I swear I will make you the happiest woman in the world, Mengxi. Marrying you is something I will do at any cost. But… I also like Qingmei a lot."
"So, you're planning to marry both of us?" Zhao Mengxi pressed for confirmation.
"Yes. I, Kent, want to marry both Zhao Mengxi and Fan Qingmei." Kent answered firmly.
"...Alright then. Just don't disappoint us." Zhao Mengxi was silent for a moment before ultimately agreeing.
Kent eagerly reassured her, determined to make up for this moment. However, since they were still young, they both preferred to take things slow. For now, they simply embraced each other and exchanged affectionate whispers as they drifted off to sleep.
Moving Forward
Over the next two days, Zhao Mengxi continued attending the Wind and Cloud Tournament, while Kent went to meet Qian Zhenqian, hoping to gain some guidance and assistance.
Qian Zhenqian welcomed Kent warmly. As they entered the lounge, Kent immediately noticed a young fire dragon. Sensing Kent's presence, the little dragon joyfully ran over and affectionately licked his hand.
Kent stroked it for a while before checking its attributes. He was impressed—Qian Zhenqian had truly invested in this creature. In just two months, the young fire dragon had already reached level 11. Moreover, it had accumulated enough experience to advance another five levels.
After some thought, Kent decided not to boost its level right away. Advancing too quickly could weaken its foundation. Even at its current pace, the growth was already astonishing. He estimated that within a year, the young fire dragon could reach level 30 and become a lord-tier beast.
Once Kent finished explaining his short-term plans, Qian Zhenqian pondered for a moment before making a phone call. Shortly after, a highly capable manager from one of his subsidiary companies arrived.
"Hello, Mr. Kent. My name is Zhu Yeyan. Chairman Qian has informed me of the tasks at hand. I will now assist you in completing the process of establishing your company. All you need to do is bring your personal identity wristband and provide verification when required. I will handle the rest for you. How does that sound?"
Zhu Yeyan's tone was professional and respectful.
Kent nodded in satisfaction, bid farewell to Qian Zhenqian, and left with Zhu Yeyan.
Zhu Yeyan proved to be highly competent. Kent only needed to express his vision and goals—everything else was taken care of. He simply followed along, watching as Zhu Yeyan efficiently handled all the necessary procedures.
At the VIP office of the Business Registration Bureau, an official asked Kent, "Have you decided on a name for your company?"
Kent nodded and confidently stated the name he had carefully considered. "Unifying All Sides. My company will be called Earthstar Unifying All Sides Inspection Company."
This name carried Kent's deep aspirations. He hoped to climb higher and further on his path as an Inspector. One day, he aimed to unify all regions, oversee countless worlds, and create an unprecedented era of strength and brilliance for humankind.
Of course, while the officials were aware of Kent's background, they had no idea of the grand ambitions behind this company's name. To them, it was just another business registration.
"Registration is complete. Since Mr. Kent holds a One-Star Inspector status, the standard review period of ten days has been reduced to three. Please be patient, and you will receive a notification as soon as the results are available."
Hearing this, Kent felt a slight sense of relief. Registering a company was no simple task—it was a tedious and complicated process. Even with Zhu Yeyan's full assistance, it had taken them two whole days to complete it.
"Mr. Kent, do you plan to establish your mercenary group tomorrow?" Zhu Yeyan confirmed before parting ways after their dinner meeting.
"That's right. I want to get everything done in one go—I don't want to delay any further," Kent replied decisively.
Zhu Yeyan nodded, wasted no time, and left immediately—likely to make preparations, research the necessary procedures, and note the office locations and operating hours.
It was precisely because of this efficiency that Kent admired Zhu Yeyan's work ethic. If given the opportunity, he might even try to recruit him from Qian Zhenqian's company. Who knew? He might just succeed.
