AT THE STEELE'S ENTERPRISE
Damien pov
"Mr. Steele, we need to finalize these decisions today," the wedding planner said, her voice professional but slightly strained. She was seated across from me in my office, surrounded by swatches of fabric, floral arrangements, and an endless pile of paperwork. Cassandra sat next to her, leaning forward like this was the most important meeting of her life. Amelia was sprawled on the couch nearby, looking half-interested but clearly more entertained by her phone than the chaos around her.
Cassandra flipped her long hair over her shoulder and turned to me. "Damien, we need to pick the venue. The planner says the ballroom at the Grand Horizon is perfect, but I want your input." Her tone was sugary, but I knew better than to think she actually cared about my opinion.
