A Quarrel

Aria could feel the hostility radiating from Medrick and Darius as their sharp gazes bore into her. She instinctively shrank back, lowering her head, hoping to avoid their scrutiny. Her unease only deepened as she sensed their displeasure.

Medrick's frown deepened as he watched Lucien casually standing beside Aria, acting completely indifferent to their presence. His jaw tightened as he took in the scene—it was obvious Lucien was planning to leave with Aria, but why? And where? His curiosity and annoyance got the better of him, and he spoke up.

"Where are you two going?" Medrick's tone was sharp, laced with restrained irritation.

Lucien raised an eyebrow, his expression calm but with an edge of defiance. "Hmph, so now I need to report my whereabouts to you?"

Medrick's brows furrowed, his tone taking on a more demanding edge. "It's not about reporting, Lucien. But where could you possibly be going with Aria? And why is she going with you?"
