Attack on Titan: The Strongest Newcomer

Ryo's bold goal of slaying 100 Titans had left Levi's squad in a mix of disbelief and amusement. While Genta scoffed and Oruo reminisced about his younger, brash self, Ryo seemed entirely unfazed by their reactions. His confident declaration was merely the beginning of his efforts to make a name for himself in the Survey Corps.

Ryo's pursuit of money had taken a rather unorthodox turn. Having found no funds in his or Mikasa's possession, he turned to a practical solution—hunting in the nearby forest. When he returned to the camp, his arms were laden with an assortment of prey: rabbits, pheasants, hedgehogs, and even a wild boar and a sika deer. Blood stained his clothes, but his face showed nothing but determination.

"You're unbelievable," Mikasa muttered, shaking her head as she accepted a few rabbits from him.

"I'll be back," Ryo replied, hefting his prey as if it were no trouble at all.

Meanwhile, Captain Levi had finally returned after his discussion with Captain Erwin. Petra couldn't wait to fill him in on everything that had happened during the day.

"Okay, I see. Where are they? Aren't they here?" Levi asked casually, as he removed his three-dimensional maneuver gear.

"No, they should be in the room arranged by the Corps before," Petra replied.

"Alright, I got it," Levi said, not bothering to change his uniform. Instead, he decided to visit Ryo and Mikasa.

"Are you Mikasa Ackerman?" Captain Levi asked as he entered the room. Mikasa was startled, caught off guard by his sudden presence.

"Captain Levi, Private Mikasa Ackerman reports to you!" Mikasa stammered, still not expecting the captain.

"Where are your companions?" Levi asked, scanning the room.

Mikasa blinked and answered, "Over there in the central square."

Levi raised an eyebrow. "Central square?"

"Yes," Mikasa nodded, "Ryo had just returned from hunting. He caught quite a bit of prey. Rabbits, pheasants... and even a wild boar and sika deer."

Levi was stunned. "This guy... he actually went out at this hour?"

Mikasa nodded, a faint smile tugging at her lips. "He did."

After a moment of contemplation, Levi gave a slight nod. "I'll go find him myself. You stay here and rest."
