Nikolai stared at me then back at the door before he release a scoff. I could tell that he doesn't believe what I was saying because he had a look of disbelieve on his face. He shook his head before he stared back at me. "So hold on, you want me to believe that the she doesn't know that her father has been giving her ember dust?"

"I do believe it." I said and Nikolai scoffed again, "You weren't there Nikolai, there was this look in her eyes. She looked like she was being controlled, didn't listen to anyone else but her father, there was this crazed look in her eyes."

"She looked pretty crazy to me alright, but I am still not buying her ignorance." Nikolai said.
