Chapter 29 The Better, The More Dangerous

Fang Anning stared at He Tingchen's beautifully shaped lips, swallowing unconsciously.

"Why?"

The more beautiful something is, the more dangerous it tends to be. Although the lips before her were indeed tempting.

But she wasn't about to risk her life for a pretty face.

"You don't need to know why, you just need to obediently listen," the man said in a deep voice.

Fang Anning pursed her lips, mustered her courage, closed her eyes, and leaned in to kiss him.

She was somewhat nervous.

Because of her nervousness, upon touching his cool lips, she hastily retreated and quickly opened her eyes to look at him.

The man's eyes were wide open, unfathomably deep.

Like an abyss, looking into his eyes would cause one to sink involuntarily, to be drawn in.

She stared at him.

The man quietly returned her gaze, without a word.

Fang Anning sighed silently in her heart. From the beginning, she'd been sold to this devil, so what right did she have to refuse his request?
