With the rampage of Milim coming to an end, a great weight had been lifted from the world.

In truth, the five days battle had not only caused a global crisis but also damaged the pride of some of the prominent races around the world.

A lot of their kind were killed, making their numbers go down by thousands.

The high humans were an excellent example of that.

Not only had their population gone down drastically, but they no longer had a nation to live in.

Most of them had fled to the nation of Silverion to take cover.

Digging deep into the state of things, Silverion was at odds with the Super-Magic Empire.

The high humans had very large and boisterous egos and were always trying to initiate a war with them.

They had devised so many schemes that could lead to the downfall of Silverion, but all those were dealt with.

Their king had always antagonized Silverion for its rich resources but ultimately failed due to the violent reaction Kenneth used to make them cease such fruitless actions.

Ever since then, they have always despised each other.

But that is besides the point. At the moment, there are still several fierce battles going on.

One would be the clash between the pink primordial demon Rose and the Insect Lord Zelanus.

Their clash was nothing short of disastrous.

It could even be compared to that of Milim's rampage.

They had taken their battle to the far west, causing transcendental destruction that had scarred the land.

The sacred tower was also located at the site, making it a very dangerous battlefield.

If by accident, the "Heavens Tower" were to be destroyed, all hell would be unleashed.

The evil titan god was sealed in the heavens tower, and if such a thing were to take place, another catastrophe would happen.

Beings like Zelanus and Rose were definitely capable of destroying the heavens Tower with a good enough effort applied.

This is why it would be very unfavorable for Rose if they fought at the west.

The insect lord had gained strength beyond what he could amass during his early stage as an insectar.

It seems like he has fought with Ken-chan before and has already adopted his fighting style to his techniques, gaining an advantage over him.

He is now capable of defeating Kenneth in a 1v1 fight.

This was what she honestly thought. Although Rose could fight her, she wouldn't be able to defeat her.

But she had already done her best.

Besides, I'm not like someone who can always find their way in situations like these.

She smiled slightly whilst dodging a deadly blow from Zelanus.

Zelanus: 「Hm... you held on longer than I expected.」

Rose: 「Please don't mock me. You are quite the gigachad with the whole aura thingy on your side.」

Zelanus was confused with her words but shrugged it off as the rumbling of a fool.

He, too, had gone all out but was just incapable of putting an end to this foul demon.

It almost seemed like a fruitless endeavor as she seemed to get stronger as the fight went on.

She had been using a strange energy, one which he didn't recognize at all to battle him.

The energy was surprisingly very effective on him as it erased his life force the moment he made contact with it.

Keeping this in mind, he aimed to finish her as soon as he dodged an attack from her.

This was likely because the energy which she used was very dangerous, meaning she had to weild it carefully.

In that case, would that not mean that a lot of her analytical prowess would be focused on handling the foreign energy?

Such was the deduction he made with a mere glance of the state of things.

But it didn't go unnoticed by Rose, who had already discarded the need for caution on that matter.

The fact that Rose was completely immune to the energy was not something he knew about.

No, he had a lingering suspicion on it but refused to believe in that deduction.

Besides, if the energy affected a whole me, how would a mere primal demon be immune to such a thing?

This was his honest and genuine thought.

After all, he would not like to believe that he was, in a way, inferior to a demon, even if it were a primordial demon for that matter.

With the magicules in the atmosphere becoming extremely dense, it made perception very difficult.

This would normally pose a big problem in a fight like this, but with their transcendental skill level, such a thing would only be the weight of an ant on them.

Their clash intensified, and the force behind each blow and evasion increased, creating shockwaves that destroyed the space around them.

The speed of their clash increased drastically, making them seem to be flashes of lights clashing against each other for domination repeatedly.

Zelanus infused the power of his dark cells in his every blow, making each strike of his capable of ripping apart and devouring almost anything.

With the force of his punch, he would disintegrate his target, and with the power of his dark cells, he would devour the remains left behind by his blows.

With this process, energy expenditure was accounted for, and the damage was done.

That was just how it was.

Rose used the minus energy from hell to conjure up eleven fire balls, throwing them at him.

Each of them were evaded with accurate precision.

As Zelanus was about to land a blow on Rose, she struck first, creating seven dark light balls filled with the minus energy.

Rose: 「『Light Proliferation Storm』.」

In a sweeping motion with her hand holding her fan, she sent these light balls towards Zelanus, hoping to catch him off guard.

Zelanus tried to evade the attack but failed due to the hidden purpose of the attack.

The light balls surrounding him released thousands of deadly light rays dyed dark blue, imbued with the effect of minus energy.

Multiple light rays pierced Zelanus' body, causing intense pain and damage to him.

She was not the pink primordial demon for nothing. She had multiple deadly techniques that could even put someone like Guy on edge.

Zelanus did not take her lightly, but he still could not bring an end to her.

This woman is terrifying. Even I can't beat her. I need to do something quickly before another one gets in my way.

No matter how strong she is, she is not invincible.

He had already thought of retreating, but doing so would just make all his efforts end in the trash can.

The state of things was not good for him.

He had wanted to rely on the chaos dragon to divert attention, but it seems he underestimated the might of that primordial angel.

He was sure that he could fight evenly with him, and if he was the strongest amongst the original angels, then that meant he could probably defeat all the remaining angels of origin.

But it seems like my evaluation was flawed. I should be more cautious in the future.

He thought so whilst restructuring his body with the energy he had been storing.

With just a span of a few seconds, he had already completed the healing process.

Rose: 「You're planning on sucking me dry, huh? A good plan, I must say, but I won't fall so easily.」

Zelanus: 「That's funny, coming from someone as low on energy as you are.」

Rose: 「Hm... my bad. Must've been worried about me, eh?」

Zelanus: 「Tch. Just go back to hell already!」

Rose: 「It's costly. But if you want to do it so badly, I could allow you to be a gentleman and pay for my transportation fee.」

Such was the psychological warfare they played against each other.

The battle had reached its climax, and the winner would be decided with this last clash.

Zelanus: 「Take this! 『Devastator Virus』!!」

Rose: 「Ha! When you reach the otherworld, say hi to Iverage for me.『Myriad Light Burst Devastation』!!」

Making it clear as their final attack, they used over 70% of their current energy quantity in this final attack.

Normally, considering the fact that Zelanus had an energy quantity over twenty-five times greater than hers, his attack should've overwhelmed her completely.

Here was the catch. In this case, the energy she dealt with was the minus energy and dark energy.

These were very destructive forces with the ability to erase matter down to its atomic level.

Using these two energies together, one could erase the very information of a target.

This was the cataclysmic effect of Sariel's magic, the chaos magic.

She had bugged Sariel about it in the past for several days, making him frustrated beyond help.

With this, he gave up and taught her how to use it.

It sounded simple, but it was actually extremely complicated.

One had to ensure that the holy energy and minus energy were in sync, avoiding destruction at the beginning stage.

If the holy and dark energy were to ever collide whilst in the user's grasp, it was safe to say that the user intended to commit suicide from the very beginning.

A chain reaction would occur, and an explosion containing the infon-erasing effect would be created; something meant for the target.

In the end, the user just had to make sure that the holy and dark particles were separated from each other before launching the attack.

When the attack hits the target, the energy collision will then occur, causing the whole phenomenon.

It was a terrifying and difficult thing, making it one of the most dangerous magic to be ever known.

This was what Rose did.

Manipulating the dark and holy energy, she created an energy sphere containing an extremely dense level of dark and holy energies.

Seeing this, Zelanus became very wary. He had known by now what this could do, but he had already attacked, making it too late.

She crushed the energy sphere, creating thousands of light beams that channeled the infon-erasing light towards his vital points.

She did not go unscathed as her entire wrist was also erased.

Some of the energy beams penetrated the dark cells released by Zelanus, erasing them from existence.

Bypassing his destructive attack, the beams of light traveled at an unevadable speed, piercing his body.

A loud scream of agony was heard as the light beam made its way through Zelanus' body.

One of these lights had pierced his heart core, shattering it completely.

Zelanus: 「S-Shit!!」

Rose: 「Oh? Your last word? Meh, that's beyond me.」

Before his soul could completely fade away, he attempted to flee.

Resorting to escape, he used 『Spatial Transfer』, but alas–

Rose: 「Ah—yes. The infamous plot scene where the villain always finds a synonymous way to escape eternal doom.

Well, too bad for you, I am not your everyday run-of-the-mill hero. I'm a demon. A cruel one at that. Take this as a note of warning.」

Her tone, which was initially sweet and a little cheerful, turned cold immediately.

Every cell of Zelanus's froze from the sudden change in demeanor.

A new type of fear he had never experienced.

It almost seemed... artificial.

Rose: 「Keep this in your memory if you were ever to escape this. The pain you'll feel is not just going to end when you die.

Walking over to his crumbling body, she drew out her fan blade, imbuing it with her destructive energy with a cold expression.

Rose: 「Another thing I need to mention is, if you were to ever again cause trouble to my dearest friend–....」

She paused, elongating the terror Zelanus felt. Letting her words sink in, she finally spoke again.

Rose: 「–just know that not even Veldanava-sama would be able to do jackshit about it.」

With those as her final words, she unleashed the power of her unique skill,『Fear』, in sync with her other skill, 『Deadly One』.

The two combined performed a terrifying task.

The escape plan of Zelanus worked, but not without scratch.

She had already done what she wanted to do, and in the end, she had succeeded in defeating the insect king.

Rose: 「This is the best fight I have ever had. I'm gonna need a pretty long time to rest and recover my energy. Totally worth it.」

Smiling to herself in pure satisfaction, she strolled away from the battlefield.
