Early Death of the Count of Massa

"Ms. Winters, there are a lot of things in the world that don't happen for a reason, aren't there?"

Frederick got off the swing, his blue eyes shining on Winters' beautiful face.

Back when the Foxes and the Inhumans fought and Frederick's parents died before his eyes, he wanted to ask why too, God didn't give him the chance.

Frederick never cared to be the youngest earl of the Fox Clan.

"Ms. Winters, Duke Massa carries more than just the Wolf Clan."

"I'm sorry, Frederick."

After saying that, Winters fell silent, she seemed to have said too much to this Fox Clan Earl that she had just met today.

Frederick would not understand her, and she felt that perhaps she should be left alone to deal with the poisoning of Duke Massa.

Winters was about to turn to leave when Frederick called out to her.

"White Orchid Grass grows in the dungeon of Massa Castle, if you really want to stop Duke Massa from dying, you can go to the dungeon of Massa Castle to take a look."

Winters' body suddenly stiffened and trembled a little, the dungeon of Massa Castle was the place where she died in her previous life.

Frederick could see that Winters was out of sorts and stepped forward with concern, "Ms. Winters, what's wrong with you?"

"Frederick, this has nothing to do with you."

*

The huge dungeon unfolded before her eyes, dust flying in the dark, damp and cold air.

Despite the shadow of his last life's abuse in her mind, Winters ended up going to the dungeons of Massa's castle alone.

Carefully casting a spell with her fingers, Winters lit a phantom fire, which illuminated the path to the castle's dungeon.

She didn't have much time left, Winters needed to get back before the birthday party started.

The Massa Castle dungeon was where the wolf traitors were held.

The smell of blood filled the dungeon, the walls were covered in wolf skins, and the path to the interrogation room was paved with wolf teeth one by one, which were flanked by large patches of white orchid grass.

Frederick quietly followed behind Winters, the reason why he told Winters about the white orchid grass was because he also wanted to know about what was hidden in the dungeon of Massa Castle.

The further Winters went, the colder his hands and feet felt.

Until a groan of pain came from the end of the dungeon within.

"Mike, give me the blancmange."

Duke Massa looked completely different from his frail appearance in the study, the heavy chains penetrating his shoulder blades.

"Duke Massa, if you take it again, I'm afraid you won't live to see next week, it's Ms. Winters' birthday, you shouldn't ..."

Before Mike could finish his words, the chains were ripped off by Duke Massa.

Winters covered her mouth and hid under the table in the interrogation room.

"Mike, you old thing, this is the curse of the Sutherland family."

The Duke of Massa's voice then roared out across the empty dungeon, his eyes devoid of living things.

There were wolf corpses as far as the eye could see, and if it wasn't for Mike's protection from the adamantine spells, he would have been torn to pieces by Duke Massa as well.

"Uncle Massa!" Winters' voice sounded behind him.

"Ms. Winters don't go over there, it's dangerous!"

Mike moved forward to try to stop Winters, but was unsuccessful.

Winters walked in the direction of Duke Massa, her pretty dress stained with wolf blood.

Her mouth recited the wolf heart incantation, and Duke Massa's pupils gradually became conscious.

Frederick was a little surprised in his heart: Winters actually knew the wolf clan secret spell.

"Winters don't come over, you will die."

"Uncle Massa, let's go to the Fox Clan, there will be help."

Duke Massa didn't answer her words as he closed his eyes, and when he opened them again, Duke Massa's pupils changed back to a blood color.

"No good!"

Mike transformed into his wolf body and flew to Winters' side, Mike forcefully threw her out of the range of Duke Massa's attack.

Winters mouthed the heart incantation faster and faster, but it seemed to have lost its effect on Duke Massa.

"Destroy them all."

The roar of the primitive wolves shattered the glass of the entire castle.

Frederick covered his ears tightly, but still spat out a mouthful of blood from the shock of Duke Massa's energy.

The dungeon of Massa's castle was shrouded in to darkness, it was the familiar scent of death for Winters.

Winters thought that she would die here again, but she didn't expect that a colorful light would then shine open in the dungeon.

Everyone did not react.

Duke Massa had actually detonated the wolf crystal stone in his body by himself.

He smiled kindly at Winters, and then Duke Massa lost all his strength and collapsed on the white orchid grass.

"No, Uncle Massa, wake up."

Duke Massa spat large gulps of blood from his mouth, and his pupils were covered by a white mist.

Winters wanted to use her wolf crystal stone to renew Duke Massa's life, but was stopped by Duke Massa.

"Child, it's useless, I chose this path myself."

"Uncle Massa, you won't die." Winters shouted, her eyes filled with blood.

Duke Massa's breath was weak, no different from a dead person.

Winters' grip on Duke Massa's hand was unwilling to let go until Duke Massa's heart stopped beating completely.

"Ms. Winters, I'm going to help Duke Massa into the coffin."

Mike bowed his head with a heavy face, the coffin had been prepared a year ago.

They had planned for it long ago.

Winters was always in a state of lost soul, her whole body seemed to be in a great pain, curled up next to the coffin.

The moment the coffin was closed, colored crystals came across from the coffin.

It was?!

"This is Duke Massa's wolf crystal stone, Ms. Winters, you will be the heir of the Sutherland family."

After saying that, Mike placed the wolf crystal stone in Winters' hand and glanced at Frederick who was hiding in the corner.

"Frederick, come out."

Mac took out a letter from his lapel and handed it to Frederick and said, "This is what Duke Massa wants you to do."
