Third Person's POV

She laughed softly and the sound was like a melody in the quiet forest. 

Their movements slowed and slowly became more intimate and more natural.

Their gazes locked as unspoken emotions lingered between them.

Ethan's grip tightened around her waist as he slowly leaned in and softly brushed aside her golden bangs with his lips.

He pressed a lingering kiss to her forehead and she shuddered instinctively as she felt his lips warm against her cool skin.

Time seemed to become still around them.

She exhaled shakily as her cheeks became faintly tinged with color.

Vampires rarely showed such visible reactions as their slowed blood flow made blushing and similar expressive emotions uncommon but at this moment, she couldn't suppress it.

Ethan tilted her chin up as his gaze slowly dropped to her trembling lips.
