With Helen

"Should've seen that coming" Kaiser says with a laugh, his eyes glinting with amusement as he looks at Amelia "Of course, the people living in the capital would recognize the only princess on the continent"

Amelia lets out a small sigh, her voice tinged with regret

"All the effort I put into picking this hat to avoid attention has gone to waste" She gently removes the hat from her head, hands it to Kaiser, and smooths her shimmering, silky hair

Seated in her wheelchair, Helen looks up at Amelia with wide, innocent violet eyes

"Did I mess things up for everyone?" she asks softly, tilting her head slightly as if trying to grasp the situation

"Not at all, Helen" Kaiser quickly reassures her while giving the wheelchair a gentle push as the three of them leave the flower shop "You didn't do anything wrong. If anyone's at fault, it's Amelia for being too famous" He glances at Amelia with a playful smirk, making her shake her head and laugh

Helen smiles, her cheeks turning a soft shade of pink at the warmth in Kaiser's voice

"I'm glad to hear that! But… Princess Amelia, I never thought I'd ever meet you in real life. You're even more beautiful than the portraits!"

Amelia looks slightly surprised at the straightforward compliment, but she quickly responds with a warm smile

"Thank you, Helen. But I think it's your cuteness that really stands out and catches people's attention"

The unexpected praise makes Helen blush deeply, and she hurriedly lowers her head to hide her embarrassment

"You're too kind…" Helen murmurs shyly

The three of them begin moving through the market stalls, with Helen sitting in her wheelchair as Kaiser pushes her along. She can't hide her excitement, her eyes darting around from the vibrant fruit stands to the neatly arranged handcrafted items

"Look over there, those bracelets are so pretty" Helen says, pointing to a small stall

Kaiser stops to let her take a closer look. The vendor, an elderly woman, greets them with a warm smile

"Which one do you like, dear?" she asks

Helen hesitates, her eyes scanning the bracelets made of stones and seashells. Finally, she picks out a delicate bracelet with a single light-blue stone

"I just wanted to look; there's no need to buy it"

"No need to be shy" Amelia says, leaning down to look at Helen "I think that one suits you perfectly" Without waiting for Helen to respond, Amelia takes out her money and pays for it

"That's really not necessary, I don't want to trouble you…" Helen shakes her head, looking a little embarrassed

"Consider it a welcome gift from me" Amelia says with a gentle smile "How does that sound?"

Helen lowers her head in thought, her violet eyes sparkling as if she's just come to a decision

"If you're so insistent… let me teach you how to take care of roses! Just like I taught Kaiser before"

Amelia is surprised by the suggestion but quickly smiles

"I'd love that. Learning to care for flowers from you sounds like a lot of fun" She says

The three stop at a cotton candy stall next. Helen stares at the colorful treats with wide, sparkling eyes, clearly fascinated

"You like cotton candy?" Kaiser asks, noticing her expression

Helen presses her lips together and nods slightly

"I've never had it before… but I heard it's really soft and sweet"

Amelia chuckles and glances at Kaiser

"We have to get some for this adorable girl"

Kaiser nods and quickly buys a large pink cotton candy. He hands it to Helen, but she hesitates, not daring to accept it

"It's really okay, I don't want to be a bother…"

"Take it, Helen" Kaiser says gently "It's a gift from us, not a bother at all."

Helen shyly takes the cotton candy, her eyes shimmering like a child receiving a gift for the first time. She carefully breaks off a small piece and puts it in her mouth. As the sweetness melts on her tongue, a smile spreads across her face, her round cheeks looking even more endearing

"It's delicious… I didn't think it would taste this good!"

Amelia and Kaiser exchange a look and can't help but laugh

Helen looks up at them, puzzled

"What are you two laughing about?"

"Nothing" Kaiser says, shaking his head with a small smile

"It's just… seeing you this happy makes us happy too"

The three of them stroll through the bustling market for quite a while, soaking in the lively atmosphere. Helen, with a radiant smile, constantly points out her favorite stalls to Kaiser and Amelia, though Kaiser occasionally has to gently pull her wheelchair back to stop her from rushing straight into the candy stalls. After wandering for a long time, the group decides to head back to Helen's house

As before, when they reach the familiar wooden door, Helen cheerfully calls out

"Father, I'm home!" She retrieves the key from her pocket, quickly unlocks the door, and wheels herself inside

Hugo is sitting at the small dining table in the corner of the room, looking a little tired, but his face brightens when he hears Helen's voice. He quickly stands and walks toward the door

"Oh, Helen, is that you? Why are you back so late?" he asks, his tone tinged with worry "I thought something might've happened"

Helen giggles, spinning her wheelchair slightly to face him "I'm fine, Dad. I went out with Kaiser and… and Amelia!" She turns to look at Amelia, her violet eyes sparkling

It's only then that Hugo notices Amelia and Kaiser standing behind Helen. When he sees Kaiser, he smiles warmly "Oh Kaiser"

Kaiser steps forward, bowing politely

"Hello, Mr. Hugo. Yes, it's me. I took Helen out today, so we're back a bit late"

Hugo smiles kindly, patting Kaiser on the shoulder

"If you're with Helen, I can rest easy. But…" His gaze shifts to Amelia, his expression showing a hint of surprise

"And this young lady is…?"

Amelia steps forward, tilting her head slightly in greeting

"I'm Amelia. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Hugo pauses for a moment, taking in her white hair and elegant demeanor. However, he quickly smiles again, choosing not to ask further questions

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Amelia. Thank you for spending time with Helen"

"It's no trouble at all" Amelia replies, her gentle gaze shifting to Helen "I've enjoyed every moment with her"

The atmosphere in the house grows warmer. Kaiser, after placing a few shopping bags on the table, smiles as he watches the three converse. Helen, with her sincere words and innocent eyes, seems to ease the weariness of the long day. Even Amelia, usually serious in her demeanor as a princess, seems relaxed and at ease around the young girl

"Dad, I bought fresh fish at the market! I want to eat that!" Helen eagerly suggests

"Alright, I'll get started" Hugo says with a laugh, patting Helen's head affectionately

"Kaiser, Amelia, why don't you go out to the backyard with Helen? I'll take care of dinner"

Amelia glances at Kaiser, and they both nod

"We'd be happy to" Kaiser replies with a light smile

Helen quickly turns her wheelchair toward the back door, excitement shining on her face

"Come on! I'll show you my garden and the roses I've been taking care of"

In the garden, Amelia crouches down by a nearby flowerbed, gently touching the soft petals of the flowers

"These are truly beautiful, Helen. Do you take care of them all by yourself?"

"Yes! Every day, I come out here to weed, water, and talk to them" Helen replies, her violet eyes twinkling like stars "I believe flowers need to be listened to, just like people"

Amelia smiles, gazing at Helen with admiration. "You're truly inspiring, Helen"

Helen blushes slightly, lowering her head as she fiddles with the leaves nearby

"You're too kind…"

While Helen focuses on trimming the leaves and checking each flower, Amelia suddenly turns to Kaiser, her voice lowered so Helen won't hear

"Hey, I haven't asked yet, but what illness does Helen's father have?"

Kaiser pauses, a contemplative look crossing his face before he answers in a quiet voice

"Mr. Hugo mentioned that he has heart valve stenosis. The doctors say it can be treated with mana-enhanced medicine, but the cost is quite high, and the treatment is long-term"

Amelia nods, her expression thoughtful

"Alright, I'll do my best to help him. If there's anything I can do, let me know"

Kaiser simply smiles and says nothing more. Both of them turn their attention back to Helen, who is carefully inspecting each leaf as if it's a treasure

Amelia kneels down and gently adjusts a slightly bent flower stem. Though she focuses on the flowers in front of her, her mind lingers on thoughts she can't ignore

'Heart valve stenosis… That condition doesn't seem severe enough to stop someone from working, does it? Or am I remembering it wrong?' she wonders silently. Shaking her head to dismiss her doubts, she resolves

'It's probably nothing. I should just focus on helping Helen and her father'
