Simon smiled as if it was the most welcome thing he could hear. His expression looked so much like a man who had lost a screw to love that Ellie couldn't help but smile along.
'Could you give me another chance? I want to be by your side.'
Ellie sensed that now was the time to answer him. Simon had patiently waited for her unclear response of saying she would think about it. Forgiveness was entirely Ellie's choice.
