"Don't tell me this is a camera too?"
Hugo handed the buckle to Winter without answering.
Upon closer inspection, Winter saw a flat, miniature camera attached to the front of the buckle.
It seemed to have a much larger capacity than the camera Winter had. Naturally, the chances of being caught by others also seemed much higher. It was fortunate that Hugo had managed to leave the party without incident.
"I'm sorry for misunderstanding. I didn't think of this at all..."
Winter smiled awkwardly.
Hugo silently rested his head on the headrest again.
He and Ryan were not irresponsible enough to push all the dangerous work onto a rookie. If they couldn't dissuade Winter from her insistence on infiltrating the scene, the two men agreed to at least share the risk.
Now Winter didn't mind the lack of response. She seemed to be getting used to Hugo's taciturn nature.
