A week had passed since Allesandro secured his control over Bella Luxe, and the city was still buzzing with the news. Meanwhile, Ever continued running the boutique, oblivious to the changes happening around her.
Seated in his office, Allesandro sipped on a glass of whiskey while Matteo lounged across from him, scrolling through his phone.
"Boss, your move against Ambrose is legendary," Matteo said with a grin. "He thought he had the upper hand, but you played him like a damn fiddle."
Allesandro smirked, setting his glass down. "Ambrose was predictable. He let pride cloud his judgment. He could've walked away with fifty million, but instead, he settled for thirty-five. Now I have control, and he has nothing."
Matteo whistled. "Cold. Ruthless. I love it. But what's next? Ever still doesn't know you own her company."
"She'll find out soon enough," Allesandro replied nonchalantly. "For now, I'll let her enjoy her illusion of independence."
