Madame Wales sat in her garden, her fingers tracing the rim of her teacup as she listened to the man before her.

"Madame," the man began, his tone cautious, "everything you've suspected is true. Natalia was never sincere with either of them. She played Allesandro and Ambrose like puppets, using them for money and status. But that's not all."

Madame Wales stiffened. "Go on," she commanded, though a part of her already knew what was coming.

"Her real lover, Vincent, arrived from Brazil. He's the father of her child, not Ambrose or Allesandro. Natalia and Vincent worked together to manipulate Ambrose into selling his shares and buying her a villa. Once they got what they wanted, they threw him away like trash."

The older woman inhaled sharply, gripping the armrest of her chair. "Ambrose lost everything?"
