It happened so abruptly that The Princess Royal was the one caught off guard this time. Once Lina Riley had voiced her request, she couldn't bring herself to look at the other person. Her hands trembled with nerves, her entire body taut as a bowstring.
In that awkward moment, Lina found the silence unbearable. Taking a deep breath, she murmured, "I spoke nonsense. Please forget it," then turned to leave, shutting The Princess Royal's door behind her.
