Noah placed a restraining hand on Raven's shoulder. "Wait. She knows what she's doing."

Indeed, rather than retreating, Danika adapted. Recognizing the futility of direct strikes against Vostok's reinforced body, she shifted to footwork and positioning, using her superior agility to gradually maneuver him toward the edge of the ring.

Vostok, realizing her strategy, intensified his offense. With a guttural shout, he channeled his Chi into a devastating overhead strike. Danika evaded, but the force of the impact against the ring floor sent shockwaves that disrupted her balance momentarily.
