There wasn't much to be said about the life of Akhil—at the age of 8, he lost his father at the hands of his most trusted business partner, who was also on his way to becoming the world's richest businessman. 

This left Akhil with no option but to use that traitor's daughters as a means to kill that man—a rather typical story where the main character takes revenge on his father's killer by making both of killer's daughters yandere. 

Of course, this wasn't a random fantasy story where he could just reach someone like the world's richest man—sitting at the highest point of the hierarchy—so the most he could do was act as the kind child he once was to those girls and slowly build trust and obsession, which finally bore fruit, and Akhil died. 

Indeed, how could he even be able to kill a man who possessed that amount of wealth? 

So, he died in front of both of those women—making sure that they saw him bloodied and dead.....

"Do you expect me to believe that you've depleted your kingdom to this state simply for revenge, due to your crush?" Seraphina looked at him incredulously, unable to fathom that anyone could go so far for the sake of love.

This was the last thing she was willing to accept.

"You think I'm lying?" Akhil remained just a half-hand's distance from her, his eyes taking on a deep shade of pastel pink as he narrowed them beneath the fox mask.

He could see that she was struggling to believe his story, and he had no intention of retreating without making it sound plausible.

"Indeed, I do. For love's sake? Is this some sort of joke?" Seraphina kept her gaze steady, demanding to hear the truth behind his claim that he had intentionally allowed his kingdom to fall to such depths for revenge against the Empire.

Why wouldn't he have chosen to strengthen his kingdom instead to exact his revenge? The flaws in his narrative were glaringly apparent.
