Isakawa's fingers twitched as blue mana surged through his veins, wrapping around his body like a protective cocoon. His breath steadied as the marble inside him finished absorbing the last remnants of mana.

With a quiet hum, the small, radiant marble came out from his chest and landed in his palm. It pulsed with raw mana, yet Isakawa paid it no mind. His blue eyes, now glowing, locked onto the unconscious woman beside him.

Jennifer's breathing was steadier than before.

She managed to reduce the curse on Jennifer greatly," Isakawa chuckled under his breath, cradling Jennifer in his arms gently. Before making her float beside him as she was still asleep.

His gaze was then shifted to the child nonchalantly eating a dead body. It was Death.
