Year 403

Note: This is NOT a chapter of the story, Year 403. The author simply wants to discuss something with you all. Enjoy.

It's me, the author. I apologize to those that assumed this would be another chapter. As much as I love writing Year 403, I've been finding myself scrolling through the document and not liking what I'm writing. There are many plot holes and mistakes, and it seems only the later chapters make any sense. I've gone back and forth over this matter with myself and have to make the hard decision to rewrite the first twenty chapters or so.

In my mind, I think that the first few chapters have to make sense- it's the beginning of this world that I'm bringing you into, and if I can't have an opening that doesn't make sense/doesn't line up, then who's going to want to read the rest of what I write?

If any of you know me from Instagram, you'll know that I have many projects planned, and I'd like to have a good beginning to keep all of you willing to read more in the future.

As I rewrite the chapters, I will be titling them as "Chapter (number): Title [DRAFT 2]" The rewrites will replace or edit the text in said chapters. Updates to this story will pause for a month as I write.

To conclude, I simply want these rewrites to make the world that the characters live in to make more sense. That is all. Farewell.
