Jason & delia both continued to walk towards a place that jason thought would quickly help delia comprehend basic human knowledge, & some basic adventuring knowledge.
Such as how to differentiate between monster's, demi-humans & human's.
How to perfectly utilize her skills & bloodline.
But a sudden yell stopped his thinking as he & delia both instinctively stopped walking, then they both turned around to look at their unexpected guest.
"Please!, wait! Ple-ease…,wait!"
Then they saw a small white-haired girl running up to them. Jason looked down at Delia with an unreadable expression, but he found Delia staring right back at him, with the exact same unreadable expression.
"Huff, huff...huff!," they both heard the loud sounds of heavy panting. Which brought their attention to the said person.
Zemie made it in front of the white-haired lady & the blue-haired man, but do to running without stopping for air. She now had to catch her breath.
After 30-seconds of trying over & over to catch her breath, zemie slowly looked up, sweating bullets.
"Uhhmm,…may I help you…missss…," slowly inquired Jason as he tried to fish for a name, before he planned to continue.
"Z-z-emie!," heavily panted out zemie.
"Yes zemie, how may I help?," inquired Jason with a radiant smile.
Zemie stared at jason's smile with an unreadable expression, while still panting.
Zemie closed her eyes and start to inhale in air before exhaling it out as she tried to arrange her thoughts. After a minute or so she opened her eyes and spoke:
"Am sorry to have stopped you both, but…miss?," said Zemie, also trying to fish for the white-haired elf's name.
Jason's expression instantly distorted from a smile to a panicked expression as he instinctively was going to intervene.
But what happened next shocked him & zemie, each for a different reason then the other.
"Me? Am, delia," calmly introduced delia with her right hand placed on her chest, with a bright loving smile.
Jason's mouth hung wide open as he openly stared at Delia, as this was the first time that Delia had spoken a full sentence & flawlessly at that.
And what was with the sudden calm tone to her usually cheerfully voice?
Wait, how long has it been since we both left the inn? 10-minutes, 30 or an hour?, thought jason.
But to zemie the beautiful white-haired elf named delia sounded, sounded, like… she really didn't know how to describe it. But if she could closely describe it, it would be calm as the oceans waves being struck by the sun's rays.
"Uh-huh lady delia could you be by chance be lady didi's mother or daughter? Or, could you be her reincarnation? Or-, or-," rapidly inquired zemie in quick successions but she was abruptly interrupted by jason.
"Woo-ow there zemie! Slow it down and take a breath. So do as I say, okay?," calmly said jason with sweat dripping from his back.
Zemie didn't trust her own voice so she just nodded her head.
"Take a deep breath in…," calmly instructed jason making sure that zemie followed his instruction's.
Inhale!," inhaled zemie.
"...now slowly release it."
Exhale!," exhaled zemie.
"So are you now calmed?," jason inquired with his usual smile.
"Yes!... as I was trying to figure out, lady are somehow related to lady didi? Please let me know, -I really do need to know!," hurriedly asked zemie.
Jason's eyes widened in shock as he expectedly looked to delia expecting something to occur. Jason was expecting for delia to say something completely out of character but all she did was to stare at zemie with a confused face.
In that moment two things struck jason.
First of, jason only now recalled that just maybe delia learned how to know when someone was inquiring about her name, from all the times he and his party-mates called or said her name.
And she unknowingly picked up on it.
So I am right about her continued evolution. It's like an endless mutation faze where she'll continuously evolve till she'll reach complete maturity.
The second thing he realised was that he somehow knew this girl. But he couldn't put a finger on it, so he choose to just ask instead of wasting time. Seems he urgently needed to teach delia some common knowledge.
"By any chance are you the girl known as didi's biggest fan? No wonder your name sounded familiar!"
When Zemie heard Jason's question a proud smile spread across her face. She then clenched her left hand into a fist and proceeded to pat her chest twice with it.
"Yes! Sir Jason your spot on at your guess," she said with visible pride in her tone.
"Ahh miss zemie were both kind in hurry here. But I wouldn't want to leave you hanging. So to answer your primary question, this young lady…," he briefly paused to look at delia, before continuing on.
"...you could say that she's like a daughter to didi while at the same time not being. Hard to understand no? But all you need to know is yes she is related to didi."
Zemie was at first very confused by Jason's first words, but when he confirmed that the lady beside him was really related to her favorite idol-didi.
She beamed such a relieved smile filled with unshed tears that it temporarily froze Jason to his spot with widened eyes. Staring directly at zemie.
But he soon snapped out of his shock and grabbed Delia's hand as from the corner of his eyes he saw Delia slowly but craftily start to walk away from his side.
With a hand held tight onto one of Delia's hand jason looked to zemie and spoke in a visible apologetic tone in his voice:
"Hope that answers your primary question. But we both have to head out now! If we meet once more I'll try to properly explain the situation to you, okay?"
Zemie could only nod her head with her beaming smile still plastered on her face.
Seeing her nod Jason once more gave a warm smile then proceeded to run with Delia still holding on to his hand.
Slowly but surely Jason's & Delia's figures vanished the further away they run.
Zemie just continued to stare at the direction of where Jason and lady delia run off hoping deep inside her heart that they'll all meet once more.
At that time, Zemie didn't realize that her wishful wish would come true. Not tomorrow, not in a year nor two, but several years later.
As Jason ran with Delia a single feeling stood out to him. He didn't know why he felt that he needed to explain who Delia was to Zemie, but a feeling deep inside of him told him that the said girl would be someone very important to Delia in the future.
In that moment without Jason, Zemie & Delia knowing they're three fates were intertwined by fate themselves.
